The one and only iconic Halal R Us of Newark. I used to get it all the time as a Uni student. Highly recommend trying the Gyros, they are delicious. The workers are always friendly, and will quickly get your order to you. The only negative that I can think of is make sure you have access to a bathroom within an hour or two of eating it, or there’s going to be some bad news…

It’s really good. The overall quality is great and they treat customers with great respect. I would highly recommend to try it, if you are in Newark area. It generally cost around 5-6$.

I think this place has amazing food and it tastes near perfect but the price increase makes me get this as less often as I should, I have to pay 7 dollars now when I used to only pay 5 and while the food is good, I don’t think I can be paying 7 dollars constantly every timea when I can go to crown fried chicken and get a five dollar box for 5 dollars.

The best bang for your buck around Rutgers Newark, really. Either sandwiches and gyros for $5 or the platter for $7, both being really great options. Don’t sleep on the hot sauce either as it has plenty of kick that one would want! The lamb and chicken are personal favorites of mine and I can always look forward to this place for a quick yet extremely filling bite! Customer service is always nice too!

The cart in downtown Newark opp McDonald’s is run by some very hard working individuals who always have smile on their faces. Good food at a very good price. Better than Halal Guys in my opinion where you have to pay twice or three times as much for the same thing. Keep it up !!
