This eatery is a great place for breakfast, lunch or dessert! Most of the desserts are baked in store and they are delicious! They are open some days till 6 and most days till 4. They serve a huge menu of ice cream and they’ve got so many toppings to enhance a regular cup or cone. I came for the breakfast and a latte. They have a changing and seasonal menu for coffee products. There is a large private patio to eat outside or several inside tables to sit at. The place is clean and the service was great. The breakfast burrito was really the perfect size. All wrapped up in a delicious grilled tortilla. They make a Breakfast Pizza that is Packed with protein. I’ll get that next time. There’s an interesting menu that has many açaí bowls that look fresh and delicious as well.

This shop is completely adorable. The service was prompt and friendly. Easy parking. Weymouth needs more places like this one! I had the cinnamon bun coffee and a bagel egg and cheese. Can’t wait to come back for the ice cream- regular, vegan and slush.

The place is adorable, with lots of green plants and large bright windows. There is indoor and outdoor seating, and a good variety of Stash tea and various coffees, as well as baked goods and gluten free baked goods. They also have ice cream.
Service wasn’t quick (one person finally gave up and left the line), but everyone serving was super friendly and eager to help.
There is one step to enter, but otherwise it is flat. I did nearly trip on a plant that is to the left of the door but it’s small so you don’t see it. This plant should not be on the floor. Someone will trip.
The tea was good, but the breakfast pizza was gross. It had poppyseeds in its focaccia crust, which was an odd addition, and it tasted very bland. In fairness, I’m not a big fan of ham and I didn’t realize it had ham.
The slice of pizza and tea came to $6 something, so affordable.
The gluten free cupcake was gross and, upon inspection, over a week expired. They refunded my full order and took responsibility which I was grateful for, as I might have laid the blame on Sweet Sense for the dry, disgusting cupcake, and that’a not fair to the provider.
Thank you for resolving the issue. I’ll be back to try again :-). Your excellent service does you credit!!!

I am so done with this place !! Igot cupcakes for friends really stale along with scones and cinnamon rolls , not just a 1 time shot , all over time.
They over charged me for coffee , I get sm and charged for med 3 times . I approached the owner (finally! ) about the coffee iver price .
She was so rude and defensive gave me the 3rd degree and excuses about always hiring new staff so the girls are overwhelmed
I told her to just mention it to the workers so they don’t overcharge .. she constantly talked over me . Her thought was email her or approach her at that time of service.
I’m always a friendly person and support local businesses.
I check my receipt via email after a while I’ve Let so much slide. But after talking to her today … useless , cold person shouldn’t own a business if can’t deal with the public .
I DO NOT RECCIMEND THIS PLACE !!
I don’t feel so bad reading these reviews with the same experience ..

I really want to like this place because it’s local, but we just walked out with two of the most stale cupcakes we’ve ever eaten. These should not have been on display, and when they were put in the container, the service worker should have realized that they were nearly as hard as rocks just by handing them.
The chocolate peanut butter fooled me, thinking it could have been that firm because of a denser cupcake…but that was not the case. The peanut butter frosting tasted of soap. These cupcakes were appalling.

I really try to support local businesses, but the owner’s attitude is consistently unpleasant. I’ve given this place a few chances, so it’s not just a one time experience. With so many other cafés in the area, there’s no reason for me to return especially when both the food and coffee are mediocre at best.

This is my first time at the Merry Cafe and I ordered a caramel latte. It tasted better than the DD and SB – very yummy! The place is open and has a section with toys and books in case you come with your little one. It also has a couple outside tables with umbrellas. A great meetup spot for those in the neighborhood.

This is my go-to coffee shop! Food and coffee are good, with so many options. The owner is so sweet and her staff are amazing! It can get busy so I just plan an extra few minutes for my trip there – worth it! It’s a beautiful space, too!
