This quaint restaurant may appear unassuming due to its small size and vintage aesthetic, but I recommend taking advantage of their take-out option to fully enjoy their delicious pizzas. Unfortunately, the service fell short of expectations, with the staff seeming unfriendly and unhelpful. A notable oversight was the lack of menus, leaving patrons to guess their offerings. Despite this, the food was exceptional, making the subpar service all the more disappointing.

So the absolute best thing about Alumni is Alan but the pizza is great too. We used to love the pizza deal at the Alumni on Hancock and I was so pleased to see it back at this specialty place on Washington! My youngest was diagnosed with autism which I told Alan when he kept asking loads of detailed questions about the pizza boxes. Not only did Alan answer them all, he gave him an unfolded box to figure out while we waited for the pizza. Even gave him one to fold for his brother at home! He made a scary new place fun, stimulating, and most of all safe!! The pizza was just as i remembered! Thank you for a great afternoon noon adventure for every family member!!

Some of the best south shore bar pie. Great dive. All the pizzas are good. But I’d say it’s arguably the best Buffalo chick bar pie I’ve had and I’ve tried a lot of them. Cold beer and Staff is extremely nice and attentive. Can’t ask for anything else.

This Pizza is very different but is one of the best pizzas I have had in the Boston area. The red sauce is amazing. The vegetables were so fresh. I cannot wait to try another Pizza from Alumni.

I don’t know what’s up with these people but I had terrible experiences at both Weymouth and Quincy locations….rude unpleasant and bad quality! Plenty of better alternatives around

I wasn’t requesting money back or anything just guidance.this is the picture of my pizza when I lift back the cheese. Hardly any sauce never mind extra

The tip of a pencil was in my sandwich. When i called to let them know they were rude. I asked if they had a manager who I could let know and they said “not really”.

Years ago, I lived in Wollaston. My husband and I would get pizza from Alumni pretty regularly. We were sad when it closed. We moved out of the area but came to visit this week—I googled and was thrilled to find that they re-opened in a new location! We made sure to stop by for the BEST bar pizza and it didn’t disappoint. The server was super friendly and attentive, too. Wish we could come all the time!

We ordered 4 pizzas, one hamburg and onion, one onion, one cheese and a chicken ranch. We got two onion, one cheese and the chicken ranch. With the exception of the chicken ranch the pizza was awful. Too much cheese and almost no sauce. The dough was saturated with grease and they had no flavor other than the oil from the pan. The grease actually came through the bottom of the box on an onion pizza. We asked for them crispy and we got undercooked pizzas. They did arrive quickly.
