This place is a slice of Hippie Heaven with a serious BBQ option. PERFECT! The unconventional layout replete with a psychedelic school bus and small stage harkens back to the daze when real hippies roamed the earth. The food is fresh, well prepared with ample portions. Best of all this place reminds of my day’s touring with the Grateful Dead and communing with fellow misfits in all manners of adventure and merriment! Thank you OuterSpace!!

We parked near here and toured Floyd before deciding to return for lunch. So glad we did. We would usually do a split for lunch, and the portions are plenty to do a split, but the menu was just too interesting. So she had Grown-up Grilled Cheese, and I had the Breakfast Burrito with sweet potato mash and spinach. They were both wonderful, and too big for one person to finish. Very reasonable price for what we had. Menu variety made hard choices. Atmosphere is crazy, like a picnic in outer space. So glad our campground recommended we take the time to visit Floyd!

Wow! what a cool place with amazing nachos. I mean a heap of nachos to say the least. We came to Floyd Va. to hear friends place at Outerspace & loved the eclectic, artsy place. 2 amazing cats walk around outside that are really sweet if you need a cat fix! Worth the 2 hour drive to such yummy vegetarian food but if you want barbecue that is also available at another restaurant (food truck)

I had my eye on this spot knowing we’d be traveling to Floyd this weekend. They just reopened for the season on Friday! We got lucky. It was everything I was hoping for. Beautiful outdoor space with other covered areas. Delicious food and friendly folks.

Stopped in for dinner while touring Floyd. Ordered our food and were told about 30 minutes. After waiting 45-50 minutes and watching several people who came on after we did get their food, I asked for a status on our order. She was very rude in her response and attitude, came back twice more to ask what we ordered. She discovered that another table got our order and had already eaten all of it and went to that table apologizing for about 5 minutes to them and comped their meal. We waited at least another 15 minutes for our food. The other people were apologizing for the mix up and the waitress told them we were fine with it. We told her we had a long drive to our hotel and were hoping to see the town before everything closed, she told us it would be fine, we could come back another time to visit. Food was decent, but too aggravated and tired to eat at that point.

Fantastic space and an eclectic gathering of food options, some of which cater heavily towards vegan options. I only tried the juice bar which was tasty but quantity to cost seemed off $8 for a 10oz smoothie. I also wish they had a different ground cover the loose rock was uncomfortable for thin sandals and my dog. I would still recommend visiting even though it is not perfect.
