I finally had the opportunity to try this place Saturday for lunch. Service was great and the food was absolutely delicious. They made my ham and cheese panini exactly the way I wanted it. The bread is good and all ingredients are quality. Oh, I almost forgot…the hand cut fries with Cajun seasoning we’re soooo good! I will be back!

Have been there twice. First time ordered the Pastrami Cubano ($13). It was excellent. Full of flavor. Second time today and I ordered the Spicey Jack ($11). Again, an outstanding sandwich. Such a great little hidden gem in NPR. I can’t recommend this enough.

Me and my hubby tried out for the first time today, and we were not disappointed! We tried the chicken sandwich which we both agreed, was honestly the best we have ever had. The buns are very fresh and yummy just like the rest of the ingredients. Chicken cooked perfectly. Cajun fries and chips are delicious ! Highly recommend!

Basic atmosphere but the service and food make this place top notch. Our 1st time there and it won’t be the last. Lots of different sandwich options to cover all your cravings. We had the pastrami Cuban with beer fries. Absolutely delicious and filling. I recommend you stop there for lunch if in the New Port Richey area

Just moved to the area and saw this place. Did a Google search and decided to check them out. Glad I did. Hands down best burger I’ve had. I went with the double Hound Burger. Simple, classic burger done perfectly. Came out hot, like hot hot hot. No sitting under a heat lamp. Simply seasoned with a great sauce.
Think its called Hound Sauce. So good. And just enough fries for the meal. Also piping hot. I am definitely gonna be back, and encourage you all to do the same. You won’t be disappointed.

I judge sandwich shops by the quality of their Reubens. This one was spectacular! Probably the best I’ve had in twenty years. I also had a lemon bar with a cup of iced coffee. Also fantastic. Great place. I’m definitely going back.

Ate at Sandwich Hound today for lunch. I was in the area for an appointment at the VA Outpatient Clinic, New Port Richey and wanted to grab a bite to eat. Sandwich Hound was right down the street and sound good. I had the Pulled Pork 3 Cheese Griller meal which included handmade chips and a can soda. My sandwich was great. The pork was juicy and they grilled the bread which was amazing. The chips were sliced very thing and were really good. The restaurant also does cakes, coffee, ice-cream. The owners were very nice and friendly and we sparked up a conversation. The restaurant is on Little Rd, but doesn’t have a direct access driveway, you have to turn into Counsel Square Professional Office Center, and can be tricky to find as the sign is flat across the front and you might not see it until you are past it. Also, the owners said they are open for breakfast which I will try next time I go to the VA clinic.

Wow. This was the best sandwich I think I’ve had in years. The crispy bbq chicken sandwich was phenomenal. Crispy, yet my teeth sank right through. Will definitely be back!
