The restaurant was quite and easy to have a conversation. The staff was very friendly. Service was a bit slow for food to come and a to get the check. The food was delicious. Generous portions and great options. The steak was cooked perfectly. The white meat on the chicken was a little dry, but the dark meat was perfect.

Went as a large group. Atmosphere was quiet and secluded. Service was kind and attentive. Food was merely okay. Costs were painful.

Wagyu and Bison Burgers were overcooked, dry, and meh (way pricier and less satisfying than In-n-Out or Red Robin or anywhere else), but the winter salad was good, even if it was almost too sweet. Someone had the Bison Chili and found it disappointing. I heard good things about the squash soup. Bunch of people got Bison strips and 1 got Ribeye. Those were probably okay, but still twice the price of going to Maddox up north which is the gold standard for steak. There is a kids menu. 2 kids got burgers, also dry (but only one would eat it), 1 got chicken tenders (which they ended up sharing with the first kid). Someone got a whole fish and another got a chicken. Not sure how those were. We decided to get dessert elsewhere due to costs.

Overall, it was a good experience, but the food definitely wasn’t worth the cost. Won’t eat there again unless someone else is paying.

We had a fantastic meal! The bison strip steak was absolutely phenomenal—tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. The cheesy potatoes on the side were irresistibly good, rich and satisfying. My daughter ordered mac n’ cheese from the kids menu. My husband went for the bison burger and was thrilled with it. Delicious food, cozy atmosphere, and great service—we’ll definitely be back!

We had the pleasure of dining at salt republic. It was our first experience there, so we enjoyed sampling quite a few dishes. The risotto (chef’s special) was delicious! The wild boar was next level delicious! The flat bread was a delicious appetizer and could be eaten as a lunch if you went at that time.
The Wagu smash burger with bacon and avocado was tasty. The local special of elk, asparagus and mashed potatoes was the best!! I have never had my red meat that rare, but the chef knew what he was doing because it melted in my mouth. The mashed potatoes were the best I’ve ever had!

The Wagyu pastrami sandwich was very flavorful, and thoughtfully prepared, and the place was very comfortable. If you’re staying here it’s worth giving this place a try!

My party had a truly awful dining experience for their Thanksgiving special. The restaurant is criminally overpriced, and service is non-existent.

We booked the “family style” Thanksgiving dinner with the hotel front desk, since the restaurant does not have a phone number of their own. I asked them to elaborate on what their version of “family style” means and if it was an “all you can eat” type meal. The front desk confirmed that it was all you can eat, but there was a 2 hour dining limit. That sounded excellent so I made a reservation for 3, with a non-refundable deposit.

During our meal we were brought a main course with 6 thin slices of turkey and a single scoop of mashed potatoes to share among 3 people. None of us are particularly large eaters, but we quickly went through the main platter and waited 20 minutes for a server to return. When we requested another serving of turkey, we were informed that it would cost an additional $210.00, or roughly $35 per SLICE of turkey. Blown away, we declined and ate the small pumpkin dessert, settled up our $300 tab, and left feeling very hungry and disappointed.

We’ve been doing Thanksgiving specials in the city for years now since we don’t have much family locally. We’ve always had phenomenal experiences until this year.

Enjoyed the breakfast buffet.

Food looks and tastes well. Had a good selection of breakfast items including gluten free pastries.

Service from the wait staff was good.

The only negative: The staff can do a better job of guiding the customers on where and how to use the buffet….there were many people not knowing where to start and etiquette was lacking…Not the fault of the staff the customers does not know how to use a buffet, but they could offer some guidance.

Good place, I would go back.

I have to say previous Mother’s Day was great. This time very disappointed. Some of the food was cold, lukewarm and desserts subpar. Can we have hot items on the dessert bar, and can we have a very nice ham?! Management did make up by brining a hot breakfast the potato’s they gave me were on point. They should have been on the buffet which were very good. By that time Mother’s Day was ruined. Take an example from the Grand America and Stein Ericksen! They know how to do Mother’s Day.

I went for breakfast, normally I would go for a buffet when they have it. However, today I decided to do it different and I’m so glad I did. I tried the pastrami benedict..I was so pleased. The fresh fruit salad was to die for. May I also add I had no additives and the flavors omg. I’m so glad I decided to step out the box. Thanks for great customer service Graham

I recently had the pleasure of dining at The Salt Republic, and I must say, it was a delightful experience! I ordered the Caesar salad with a flat iron steak added, and it was the perfect amount. The steak was flavorful and tender, though I would recommend cooking it just a tad longer for those who prefer it well-done.

The setting was lovely and inviting, making it an ideal spot for a relaxed meal. One small suggestion would be to extend the breakfast hours until at least noon on Sundays. There’s something incredibly comforting about having eggs on a Sunday morning, and it would be a fantastic addition to the already great menu.

Overall, The Salt Republic offers a wonderful dining experience, and I can’t wait to return!
