We went with family to celebrate my birthday, it was sort of last minute.. The service was outstanding, I wish I would’ve gotten the young lady’s name. The took orders and brought food out with a swiftness and was really nice while doing so. The food was pretty good, a few of us kept it simple with chicken tenders some of us did other things. I would return to try other things and see what they have to offer.

My boyfriend and I were looking for somewhere different to eat lunch, so we just searched Google and the name sold us, plus it was only a few miles from the house. Cute little place with funny pictures on the walls. Service was amazing and the food was delicious. We shared the trio sliders and Mac and cheese. The sliders were flavorful. The French fries were homemade and the mac and cheese was on point (most of the time the noodles are overcooked for my liking). We’ll definitely be back.

Great, fresh food and wonderful service. Nice enough to dine in and enjoy. Very sweet lady taking orders in front and we got some moist and delicious cake to go. You won’t get better southern cooking for the price. One of my all time fave lunch spots.

Huge improvement!!!! Have to say I have always liked Hoggs locally owned business casual food a great concept.
Although lately Hoggs and Chicks has been off a little with the service which has been slow, the staff looking at their phones and not attentive.
No one seemed to be interested in doing their job.
We went over the weekend and I have to say we had great food and incredible welcoming service. I think they have some new staff a manager named Jason came and checked on us he asked how everything was and if we needed anything. The food was great and we really appreciated his attention.

Hoggs N’ Chicks is an elevated country kitchen with a focus on quality, clean tasting food that is well worth its price. The customer service is excellent as well. Many of the staff seem quite young, and it is refreshing to see many young people caring as much about their work as these do. Unfortunately, the deceptive pricing and horrendous manager demand that this place go unvisited ever again. While the incomplete website offers a handful of prices which are lower than those posted in the restaurant, the actual prices charged are even higher than that. Our steak finger plates advertised for $10.99 were charged $12.99, the addition of an extra topping on the slider went from $0.50 to $1.50, and other charges were only a few cents. While these increases are perfectly understandable, and actually quite reasonable considering the excellent food quality, the fact that there’s been almost no effort in the past two years to inform customers of these charges is unacceptable. The manager came to our table after I noticed the up charges on the receipt, and said they hadn’t gotten around to changing the large order board menu since COVID-19. He then admitted the sign posted about it was “inconspicuous.” I said it was very disappointing to feel manipulated and deceived when the food is so good and the service so excellent, and that no other restaurant I have been to in the past two years has ignored proper updating of website, menus or at least offered “conspicuous” signage. He offered a loose apology, but not before condescendingly pointing out the signage on the door and by the register. I would have much preferred if he had merely said, “I heard you were upset by the prices, and I apologize. This is a poor reflection of our intended service.” I would have rated them five stars if that had been said. I looked, and there is no posted signage at the door. I did not choose to look at the register, but there are a lot of things pasted or posted on and around it. None of that matters, because there’s no uniformity. How is anyone supposed to read your mind about what the new prices are? Some things a few cents, others a few dollars. It is deceptive, manipulative, and belies management that cares very little about the Missouri City community patrons. This felt like the type of man who cannot hear any negative criticism, and chooses sarcasm and condescension as his defense mechanism. While I was in attendance earlier in the week, I heard two separate tables complain about the long wait time on their orders. Tonight, as well, I heard the manager say, “It’s coming, it’s coming” multiple times. Despite some of the best food around, and the perfectly pleasant staff, the management is too poor to stand against the competition. Such a shame.
