The staff was very welcoming when I entered, which is great to see these days. Great pricing and phenomenal food. Best pizza I’ve ever had in South Jersey. I’m not sure whether or not I’m a bigger fan of the great food or the owner responding to these mainly ridiculous negative reviews. Either way, I’ve already started spreading the word about this place and I’ve found our new place to order from.

New wave never disappoints. I ordered the big boy cooper cheese steak and cheese fries. Let me tell you that maybe the best cheese steak around. Its FULL and a gut buster, it will put you out of commission lol. The toasted seeded roll is perfect with it. Also ordered a pepperoni garlic knot pizza that was delicious. We have an infinite number of pizza places around here and very few do it right. New wave is one of them. Everything came hot and fresh. The employees are always nice as well. Props to Gary and his crew.

My family absolutely loves this pizza, it’s our favorite after trying every pizza place in the area. I have an incredibly picky toddler that has refused to eat pizza every time we’ve gotten it from elsewhere, New Wave pizza was the first time he devoured pizza and went back for more. This is a blessing, as sometimes mom just needs a break from cooking lol. We’ve ordered from them numerous times and it never disappoints!

I had the Parm bomber which is chicken Parmesan with provolone and marinara on a roll and requested no parmesan (I know lol).
I requested it extra toasted and it came out great! You can tell in the photo I took that the bread was fresh and super soft because it was able to have a little dent from me grabbing it with a hard toast. Very edible and flavorful. A nice unique sandwich. I’d definitely stop back in here again.

We’ve always loved the pizza from here, but lately we’ve noticed some disappointing shortcuts that directly affect the customer experience. Over the past few weeks, we’ve ordered fries with our pizza, and each time the portion has been noticeably small—barely half a box. Given the price, you’d expect a full serving.
While it may seem like a minor issue, it adds up and feels unfair to consistently receive less than what’s expected. We hope management takes a closer look at portion sizes and ensures customers get what they’re paying for.

I ordered a garlic crust pizza online and it was 18 dollars plus 5 dollar delivered for this mini pizza! Misleading and wasnt very good. Pen next to it for comparison*edited due to owner turning off responses. Does not indicate size, watching Instagram is misleading. We will stick to our regular pizza shop. The big boy cooper cheese steak is a 12″ roll. For $20 that’s insane.
$10 mega fries were filled half way and fries were over cooked and basically inedible.
Flavor and quality is mid to poor
Won’t be coming back. Sorry we wasted $50 on 2 not great sandwiches and disgusting cheese fries.

We are frequent customers but I had not tried the chicken cutlets platter until tonight. I was expecting typical pizza-place chicken tenders, not the “Pound Out By Your Italian Nonna” cutlets I got. They were the perfect thickness and huge! I ate them too quickly to take a pic but they did NOT disappoint! Can’t wait to try another chicken offering soon.

This is the 2nd time we’ve ordered from this place and to our utter disappointment it was a bust. We paid over $100 on 2 small pizzas (that were cold mind you) and 20 wings (also cold and left to sit). The pizza slices themselves were smaller than my hand. Its a shame because this place was good but for the money spent it’s not worth it.

It’s funny. You have several comments on here calling your food “mid” and not that good. I tried your all about the crust location a while back and I said your pizza was lacking in flavor. And you got all butt hurt and said it wasn’t. . You have a lot to learn about the pizza business. You act so cocky and like you know it all, but you really don’t. Instead of being so thin skinned and sensitive to criticism, maybe listen to your customers instead of arguing with them. And this “we don’t take phone orders” policy. That’s the way pizza has always been done. The old school places, the most SUCCESSFUL establishments. All the mom and pop places in the city do phone orders. Maybe you can learn a thing or 2 from them. Like Angelo’s. Your employees are messing up the phone orders? Maybe you’re hiring the wrong employees. I’ve been going to pizzerias my entire life, I’ve never once had my order wrong. Oh, and your pizzas need to be cooked more. That ain’t a well done undercarriage. The crust looked very white. A crispy pizza crust should look golden brown. Take notes! You have a lovely day.
