I really enjoyed the food here. Came here with two friends and we shared a plate of chicken and waffles as an app, it was really good. The Pinot grigio I ordered was ok but the manager/owner came around and got me another glass and that one tasted much better so I appreciate that. The rice and beans, the veggies, and the chicken I ordered was really good. We all really enjoyed the food we ate and I really loved the music. Definitely would love to come back.

Every jamaican in CT should definitely visit. It’s a piece of home. The food is amazing and full of flavor. Food cooked with soul in it. If you are a pork lover make sure u try their jerk pork. AMAZINGGGGGGGGG the drinks are good also and Nate he is the best. If you are not jamaican and want to experience how good the food is this should definitely be ur 1st stop.

My first time at Uncle Joe’s was awesome. When I walked in the door I was greeted with a warm hello and a welcoming smile, they allowed my wife to taste something to see if it was too spicy for her liking, the portion sizes are great, the prices are reasonable, the staff is awesome and the atmosphere is very comfortable and inviting. There is a small sit down area with a few tables, and music for your listening pleasure. I am bubbling with anticipation waiting for the grand opening of the dining area and bar, I can’t wait to get the full Uncle Joe’s Caribbean dining experience!!

The chicken and waffles taste really good and if you sometimes listen to jamaican music then the it was ok. But if you like it then you will enjoy self but I wish they played the entire song then the 1st 3 mins of every song
