This cafe serves all kinds of pies, quiche, pizza pie banana cream pie, and Spinach hand pies. The array of coffees and teas is extensive. The vanilla latte complements the spinach hand pie. Yummy. The staff is quick with the king line today just before the busy 4th of July holiday.
Great outdoor accessible seating in open air venue

Venus Pie Trap in Aptos Beach is a charming spot known for its coffee, pies, and pizzas. We stopped by for a quick bite and were thoroughly impressed. The cappuccino was fantastic—rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. We also tried the quiche, which was soft, flavorful, and well-made. The cozy ambiance and quality offerings make this a great place to visit. We’d definitely come again!

Whenever I’m in Aptos, have to stop here grab a coffee and an amazing pastry.

Coffee shop and locally made pastries by morning and take away pizza by day.

I hear they get lines, but I have never encountered one in 20+ times I’ve been here.

They currently have 11th hour coffee and pastries from Manresa bread

Had the pesto pizza with chilis, very good! I have had the coffee here before and it was good. Wanted something to eat so decided to get a pizza, exceeded expectations.

I got their pizza with mushrooms and I loved it. But I substituted for the red sauce. #Bombdotcom And to go I got their Chorizo and potatoes empanada. It was really good but the price was too high for such a little pie

Great place by the beach for coffee and multiple types of pies. They had pizza pie, hand pies, and dessert pies. We stopped and had the earl grey pie which was a ear grey milk tea custard in a flaky pie crust. It was awesome though the bottom crust was a tad soggy. The coconut cream pie had a great coconut cream to whipped cream ratio and was a graham cracker crust. There were also flakes of coconut mixed into the cream. We’d come back for pie alone but looks like they also have a soft serve machine

Charming little coffee shop right on the beach. My breve latte was expertly made and delicious. I’m already looking forward to trying their locally made pie next time!

Lukewarm coffee, high prices. Sometimes they have obnoxious messages on the whiteboard coaching patrons on etiquette and how to address your severs, “say please and thank you to your server”, ask your server about their day, etc. Usually out of common coffee choices. Location and pizza are great.

Came to this place several times. The food can be good, but it can also be substandard. The service, however, has been consistently substandard. Today we ordered a quiche and the girl being the counter told us we would be called when it’s ready, and then she told us we couldn’t wait inside because it ‘made her feel uncomfortable’. I mean, we are customers – it’s a serious problem if the presence of customers makes her feel uncomfortable. The ladies sitting next to us ordered pizza and it was soggy and practically inedible. To top it all, the Parmesan was moldy! The manager was nice enough to refund them (hence 2 stars, otherwise it would have been 1 star).

This is a small place right across the parking lot from Rio Del Mar beach. The pizzas are all 12 inches and ended up ordering a pepperoni pizza and a chorizo and potato hand pie. The pizza was made to order in their brick oven. I took the order to go and didn’t realize until I got home that they gave me the spinach hand pie instead- easy mistake I guess. The crust was really good but the filling wasn’t what I wanted. The pizza itself was ok. I’d probably come back to try some of their other offerings, but there are better pizzas in town.
