This is, according to Hibachi Kings, a standard serving size of their vegetable side. Mind you, it costs $4.75. Mushrooms were missing too, but I don’t think even mushrooms would have saved this fiasco. I went back to ask about it, and was told “the container makes it look smaller than it is”. It’s a quarter of a zucchini with 6 strings of onions is what it is. No thank you.

TLDR: Ordered and paid for my food online, arrived at the location only to see them packing up. They claimed they never received an order but did take my payment. I spent over $65 and 25 minutes driving 18 miles to a location to be told they were sorry
I checked the establishments website and saw they were open from 10am to 10 pm. So at around 4pm, I placed an order for two bowls to be picked up totaling $65+. I drive all the way from Imperial beach to National city and upon arriving I noticed they were closing up shop and preparing to leave. I thought maybe my food was ready so when I go to ask about my order, I get a blank stare back. Apparently they never received an order and had already closed everything up. I showed them my receipt on my phone stating that they received the order and took payment but it didnt seem to matter. Instead of food I got a business card with instructions to call that number and get a refund. What about my time and gas? When i call this number, I dont get an answer. I do get a text back eventually stating the manager was in a conference call but that my voicemail was read, along with a cookie cutter manager response that they will discuss this with their team to do better in the future. Nowhere did they say they were closing 6 hours early…..So I spent over $65 and 25 minutes driving 18 miles to a location to be told they were sorry that they didnt have my order. I will eventually get my money back in 3-5 business days but a sorry does not cover my gas and time.

Terrible portion size and value, shrimp still has tails sweet chili sauce tastes like red nothing water. Almost no rice included. Was $80 for 2 dinners one crappy rice treat and a side of mediocre spring rolls. No way will I order here again, places literally half the price that are twice as good. I hated it

First of all no sitting at all and They won’t take cash because they don’t have change. Since a had to drive 18 min by the time I got home the meat obviously keeps cooking not to my liking anymore. Rice was good and shrimp cooked right, chicken was just ok. For the price, it’s better enjoy an evening at a full service restaurant for sure. I probably will not be back or recommend to any of my friends.

This place is middle of the road mediocre. Nothing special. Not great. Chicken was dry, shrimp was good, fried rice was plain. No veggies in it. Very meh. Prices were not cheap either.

My new favorite hibachi in San Diego! Came here after I going down 3rd street and my original spot wasn’t open yet so me and my buddy decided to come here.
We shared the kings Burrito which was so amazing! I got the 3 meat plate with filet migon, chicken, and shrimp on top of fried rice. Really good their filet migon was probably the best tasting steak I’ve recently had. My friend got the steak and lobster plate over white rice and fell in love with it. DONT FORGET to get the yum yum sauce so amazing!! Can’t wait to come back.

The portion size was underwhelming for the price—definitely not worth it. The food was pretty basic, and even after I reminded them, they still forgot the sauce. Overall, a disappointing experience. I wouldn’t return. You’re better off saving your money and heading to Hibachi Oishi instead.

I ordered from this spot because I heard from a coworker that it was good. When I received my order, it looked like it was a kids meal. The plate was poorly served, meaning very little food. On top of that, I had to pay extra for a sauce that I thought it came with the meal. It’s pricey for what you get.

I’m a picky eater and I hardly eat meat.. and this was the most delicious hibachi I’ve ever had. The meat is soft and tasty, the rice is well cooked but not hard. I will definitely come back there! You guys also delivered it to my hotel room before closing and it was so quick.
