Great homestyle comfort breakfast! We were in town for a mini getaway and found this place. I really enjoyed our sweet server. I got a simple breakfast of scrambled eggs, smoked sausage and cinnamon toast. Everything was so good!! The eggs were cooked perfectly- not rubbery like you sometimes get at diners. The sausage was very flavorful. Even the cinnamon toast was perfect – evenly and thoroughly buttered with cinnamon sugar on top.

He had a busy bee omelet with whole wheat toast and enjoyed it. I had the carpenter and asked for it to be a certain way and they did it great. Plenty of bacon. The potatoes didn’t look good but tasted good. They were short
Staffed so it took a while to get our food but I didn’t mind. None of the staff were just standing around.Edit. this was in sept 2025 but I don’t see where it was publicly posted. Some of my reviews are not showing. Please give me a fire, thunbs down, heart or any emoji so i know it is listed. Thanks 🙂

Food was just ok. Nothing special. 4 stars because they had gluten-free options. Service was abysmal. Never topped off drinks, asked for more of somthing and it never came. Asked for a to-go box twice and ended up getting it from the register person. Waitress was nice but spent more time taking to certain customers than attending her tables. The atmosphere was great however. Loved how open it is and the Christmas decorations were very nice. Would’ve been a perfect experience had it not been for our unattractive waitress. Will try again.

I adore this place. Best diner in town. Even after a disappointing trip, I still rate them 10/10 and will definitely return. The folks that work here are fast, friendly, and attentive. The portions are generous. The only complaint i have is do not serve someone a baked potato on a basket… and that isn’t much to complain about. I know next time to not order the baked potato.

Returned on February 27, 2025. Certainly not disappointed in the tenderloin again. Love it!! Very friendly and clean. BEST TENDERLOIN EVER. Closes at 3 pm weekdays. Special sauce for tenderloin. It was large enough for 2. Great without bread. A MUST GO TO. Adding live music on Saturday nights in November 2024

Our server was extremely nice. Even through our chaotic ordering. Service was very fast from the time of us sitting down to getting a server. It was under a minute. I would highly recommend getting something to eat at the busy bee.

Nice place. Our food was wonderful. Had a hard time getting coffee filled. Our waitress was at the bar visiting.

The food was very good. We both had the BLT on Texas toast with tater tots. There were 6 slices of perfectly cooked bacon, 2 slices of tomatoes, sufficient lettuce, and mayo served on Texas toast with a side of crispy taste tots for $7.99. The diet pepsi and ice tea each cost $2.99, which, in my opinion, is too expensive. So if we go again we’ll get water to drink. The waitress was friendly and attentive. I ordered unsweetened tea and she brought sweet tea, but she might not have been able to hear me as the acoustics are terrible there. My husband and I weren’t able to talk to each other because the sounds of the other diners and the music were bouncing off the ceiling and reverberating all around. Hopefully they’ll add some sound buffers on the ceiling to solve that problem.

You know it must be good when the parking lot is full. I had the breaded tenderloin and it was delicious. It was a tradition plate-size tenderloin breaded to perfection.

I absolutely love this family owned restaurant. It’s super cute, the food is really good, and the staff was very nice and friendly. The article in the paper made me want to check it out, and it did not disappoint.
