Amazing first experience trying Dominican food! Chef Yu Yu was so welcoming and helpful in explaining what options we could eat. Even other customers were so nice and can tell this was a local hot spot. We definitely loved the mashed plantains, oxtails, pigfeet. What a great stop on our fall road trip!

Went here with a couple friends last weekend and honestly it was a nice surprise. The place had a cozy, laid-back vibe and the staff was super friendly. I ordered the mofongo with pork and it was really flavorful, the seasoning was just right. My friend got the oxtail and said it was tender and full of flavor too. The portions were generous and prices seemed fair for what you get. Music was a bit loud but it added to the fun atmosphere. Overall, a good spot if you’re craving some authentic Dominican food and a casual night out.

Great local place we ordered a bunch of different foods. Best was definitely this whole platter of meat. We also ordered a tripleta and a burger, both of those were okay. Not bad but I’d probably try something else next time, pretty cheap too. Rice and beans were good, my daughter was a big fan. Service was great, helpful answering questions and explaining the food. Even offered to help bring the food to our car. Will definitely come back.

Love love the skirt steak very well seasoned and the piña colada’s. Had to get an extra one to go so I can add liquor in it because it was just so good the drink. The potato ball wasn’t great, def will not be getting this again.

Today i had the pleasure to eat at El Fogon de YUYU and their food was amazing, service exceptional omg you don’t understand, I have eaten at many restaurants but this is my favorite. God bless them. I definitely recommend it.

YuYu’s new restaurant is amazing! The Tres Golpe Dominican breakfast was soooo good!. The flavors were rich and authentic, and the service was impeccable. I can’t wait to go back and try more dishes. Highly recommended!

Wish I could give a better review BUT I absolutely cant after going in this establishment I probably WONT and WHY you ask….we’ll if you dont speak Spanish N ur not familiar with Spanish food and what you want DONT think these women in the back will wanna help you or even try to understand what you want I was met with NOT ONE SMILE all I have 2 say is that if I had no ordered there whole fried fish meal (white rice beans and salad) which was actually very good only 15 and my plate which was only yellow rice w/ beans (dry as hell and also didnt ask if I wanted beans on top) with stewed fish that cost 20 with a side of Mac salad n I also grabbed one of there beef empanadas (DONT recommend at all Hella dry and probably sitting there all day) -____- this place needs better customer service and after spending almost 40 bills I’ll probably never step foot in this establishment again due to EVERY WOMEN BEHINF THE COUNTER who couldn’t be nice smile or say thank u or your welcome and I said it in Spanish because while I know alot I dont speak full sentences ive never experienced sucha thing in a Spanish establishment ever! I also had 2 have 2 other customers speak 2 them so they understood me sub par at best….
