My partner & I got a deal for 50% of the family pleaser meal deal and decided to have a nice lunch during our workday on Friday. The food came out quick and we enjoyed Monical’s signature French dressing with our salad, a nice pitcher of our favorite Dr. Pepper (wish they had Pepsi Zero, though!), and a 14″ 3 topping signature thin crust. I am not the biggest fan of “cracker” pizza, but it does the job!
Service was excellent, I never felt unattended to, and the atmosphere almost screamed upscale with ornate ceiling designs and leather-appointed booths.
Really enjoyed our time there, and will be back sometime again!

Was recommended this place by a neighbor so I decided to give it a try. Ordered online and picked up to bring home. The price in my opinion is very high for a single pizza compared to other pizza in the area not to be blown away by taste. While the pizza does taste good, it is not the best tasting pizza in town (in my opinion) and shouldn’t cost early as much as it does. The pizza came on a ska of cardboard inside a paper bag, covered with aluminum foil, which is the first I have seen a pizza place do. Upon unwrapping the pizza, I noticed the pizza was cut into about 60 1” – 2” pieces. I found this odd as it appeared to be made to eat with toothpicks as an appetizer. However, it did surprise me with its taste and was quite delicious. I do prefer sliced pizza which I think allows for better eating. The meal came with a family salad that essentially was chopped lettuce topped with shredded cheese, nothing spectacular. While the pizza was good, I don’t think I will order again. I encourage you to try if you are looking for something new or just want to taste something new. Overall, I rate the pizza a 4.0 out of 5 and the salad a 2.2 out of 5.

Probably the worst tasting pizza I’ve ever had, and I’m 75 years old and have eaten pizza all over the USA and Europe. Monical’s is a popular.chain in the Midwest and a popular place in Champaign, Illinois. But either the cook had a bad day or was new or in ingredients were old, but the pie was flavorless. I could imagine not even able to taste the pizza sauce, let alone and oregano. Something was off and I ended up throwing away about a third. I tried . Lord knows I tried to enjoy it but into the can it went. I hope it was just a bad day, but I won’t go back.

Mediocre medium size pizza (2 out of 5) that comes with an extravagant price – 27 dollars!!!
The bread sticks were not cooked – we felt like we ate dough.
All together, this mediocre dinner cost us, with the tip, 50 dollars. What a waste of dollars!
The service was good. No complaints. The food, though was a disaster.
We will NEVER step into this place again!
The next day we went to The Olive Garden and got pasta with bread sticks and salad, and for desert tiramisu – all excellent for 28 dollars!!!
What a difference an food quality and price!!!

When I tip, I always round up to keep the total a flat even number. This helps keep tracking finances simple. It suprised me when my final charge was not rounded, it was also for an amount higher than I had tipped. Make sure to take pictures of your receipts, or you might get scammed here too.

Driving thru town on business and had to try out a Monicals pizza. Very glad I did! It lived up to the hype. What stood out even more than the food was the friendly service. You can tell they take pride in this aspect of the business.
Highly recommend.

The pizza tastes good and is less salty than national chain brands. However, there is only one meatball in the spaghetti when I paid ~3 dollar for extra. In addition, I did not get the bread sticks that should come with the spaghetti.

If I am ordering pizza for delivery, I choose this specific Monical’s EVERY SINGLE TIME! Not only is my pizza and order always perfect, but the drivers they have on staff are phenomenal. You know the service is worth it when you look forward to seeing who is your delivery driver.
Side note: HUGE thank you for David’s smiling face when he had to deliver my pizza in the rain today! He’s the best!

Service was very nice, food was delicious. We got a pan pizza and it was seasoned amazingly well. They Definitely use real ingredients. Only problem I had was that the bathrooms weren’t that clean. Other than that, it was amazing. Would recommend

Was unhappy with being rushed off the phone and I asked if they had any specials or any deals and was told I already told you to which one of them was when I asked how much does it cost for a three topping pizza? Frustrating to say the least in times like this when we’re all trying to save and we’re supporting businesses and the lack of customer service. I guess it’s the way industry is going unless you wanna cook at home more.
