We love Mountain State Creamery!! We are there all the time. The staff is outstanding. They are so kind and welcoming. They are all so good to our 2 year old. We just had his birthday party there, and it was the perfect place and the perfect party!!!

We rented this room for our daughter’s Sweet 16 party and it didn’t disappoint! They did a fabulous job on balloons and decor. We had a catered lunch through one their catering options, which was also great! The girls had a great time celebrating. Their ice cream was phenomenal!!!

We recently purchased a “Peanut Butter Overload” Ice Cream Cake from Mountain State Creamery for our son Jared’s 21st Birthday, Choclate – Peanut Butter Pie “was” his favorite until he tasted the flavors of the Peanut Butter Overload! The layer of cake on the bottom and top with the peanut butter ice cream in the center and the icing and toppings will definitely please the palette of the most seasoned chocolate peanut butter connoisseurs.
If you haven’t visited MSC, put it on the top of your
list, it’s definitely worth stopping by not only for the fabulous ice creams and deserts but the feeling of traveling back in time as soon as you enter the creamery. The owners have gone above and beyond to bring back a creamery from the past with a touch of local history on every wall. The staff is great very kind and the over all experience was very pleasant.

I found this place while searching for ice cream places in Parkersburg/Vienna. I came decided to go here based on other reviews, and I was not disappointed. When my party and I arrived, we were warmingly greeted. That is very important to me. They suggested that we try an ice cream flight. We got two, and we got to choose 6 different flavors. Their flavors were not traditional ones and had odd names. I got the (expletive) something, which was salted caramel, which tasted amazing. My wife loved the milkshake she got. The walls were covered with antique items, including a wall full of ice cream scoops. They do over small pies and cans of pop, water, and juice.

Recently had my daughter’s birthday party in the event room at Mountain State Creamery and WOW! What a great space to host. The staff was more than accommodating, meeting every need and service expectation with a smile on their face! Not to forget the delicious ice cream available for our party guests. Top notch, excellent service. I can’t say enough about Mountain State Creamery! Our family will definitely be renting their event room again in the future!!

I didn’t try the food etc while at an event here. But, the atmosphere is so cute and relaxing! Honestly, would be the perfect place to have some ice cream and read a good book. It’s cozy in there! The event was really fun! I’ll be back for more events and hopefully will book for some cute studio sessions!
