Ordered a asado burrito for $12 and it was the most satisfying meal i’ve eaten here in Colorado. Not only was it packed with the juicy steak, it was also very tasty. I personally recommend eating it with the red salsa. This restaurant alone deserves many future customers, our waiter was wonderful. Despite having a party of 13 people she tended to all our needs. No photos sadly, was too busy devouring our meals

Good, authentic food with understandable small business frustrations. We ordered the tortas, pozole, and drinks which were good. We came in around the lunch rush and waited awhile before anyone to came out to actually take our orders. Once we ordered, the food came quick. The waiter made it seem like our drinks came included with the meals, but we were charged for the drinks. It was good food, but the service was underwhelming.

I’m kind of a Barbacoa fanatic. I love good, greasy, flavorful barbacoa that you know has been roasting all night. I will get barbacoa every time over everything else. Last time I was in the area I stopped at the place just north of here, Taqueria Los Gallitos, and got barbacoa tacos. It was not good. I was extremely disappointed. This time, I stopped at El Buen Sazon and oh baby, JACKPOT! They were so moist, greasy, and flavorful I was 2 tacos in before I even thought I had to leave a review. This spot is half the size of that other place, and their lot is tight, but it was very clean and felt more like a family restaurant. I can see people in the area stopping here regularly like it was an extention of their own kitchen. Staff is very friendly and helpful. They have a good selection on their menu, and from what I could see other people eating, everything looks great. I recommend stopping in and having a good meal. I think you’ll be back. I know I will.

We had burritos to-go but the restaurant was fresh and so clean. It was a very comfortable environment with great prices. The burritos were tasty and left my family wanting more. I had the chorizo breakfast burrito and it was so flavorful. We look forward to returning and trying more menu items. I’m personally looking forward to trying the menudo, gorditas, and tacos…but I’ll probably try everything.

Came in for a to go order of pozole and menudo on a Sunday around 11am I regretted not trying their empanadas they looked so delicious. This place is cute the staff was very friendly it was a little busy but we were in and out in less than 10 minutes. They have a small indoor eating area and cute covered patio seating. I wish I would’ve took pictures of the food both the menudo and pozole were so good that there were no leftovers. You can tell it’s made with love it was not oily like at other places and the taste was just right for what my family likes. The price is fair and about what you would pay at another restaurant 10/10 recommended with a menudo obsessed 5 year old we will definitely be back!

Ordered barbacoa and asada tacos and they might be some of the best I’ve had in Denver. Fast service and 3 choices of salsas that added the perfect touch of flavor and heat will have me coming back soon and often.
