Pretty good little Vietnamese restaurant. Their sandwiches are great, it’s packed with a ton of flavor. Their pho is okay, not the best in the area but it’s supposed to be northern style(?) so maybe I don’t prefer that type of style? Their coffee is also really good. The place is really clean but a little small so don’t come with a big group.

First off welcome to the neighborhood! Ok let’s go!! First we tried savory crepes in these photos are chorizo sun-dried tomatoes and goat cheese, also eggs spinach and white cheddar cheese. We also got the Banh Mi. The girlled pork was phenomenal, the chorizo was spicy and the goat cheese as distinctive as ever! This gem is a great addition to the neighborhood and I hope it continues to inspire a neighborhood feel with people walking in to support the area. Clifton is better because of @NGONAPPETIT

I had had crepes from this place before, so had an idea of what to expect going in. I drove out of my way on a recent Sunday morning to eat here, and it was well worth it. My chorizo and white cheddar crepe was especially good.

The restaurant is small, but with ample seating. It is clean and well decorated. The employees were nice and I had a pleasurable meal. It may be a bit out of the way, but is worth it, at least for the crepes. Unfortunately I haven’t had anything else, so can’t comment on the Vietnamese food.

We got the pho with rare + cooked beef, pork bahn mi, and Vietnamese iced coffee. Everything was so fresh and delicious! The add-ins for the pho (basil, jalapeño slices, lime wedges, fish sauce, and sriracha) are all self-serve next to the water dispenser, which is also self-serve. However, there is a special house made chili paste that you can ask for at the counter, as it has to stay refrigerated. If you like spicy, I would recommend giving it a try instead of the sriracha.
All of the negative reviews I have seen are likely coming from Americans who are expecting to be waited on hand and foot. This is a fast-casual kind of place that’s only open for breakfast and lunch – it’s not the place to go if you’re expecting an overly peppy waiter to refill your glass with a fake smile. The workers are friendly but they aren’t going to bend over backwards to convince you this is a good restaurant; the food speaks for itself.

I was in the area and craving pho so I dropped in. Didn’t try the crepes, so this review is for pho only.

Food: Not bad, it hits the spot. It’s basic without the frill. The dressings are also limited (see photos) for $10 bowl, it’s definitely pricier. You do get a big bowl, less noodles. I always need to take some home and didn’t need to this time.
*When I went, they didn’t have carry out containers for pho so I had to dine in. Consider calling in advance if getting pho to go. I expect this will be resolved shortly after this review as they were working on it.

Service: Fast and friendly! You get your own utensils, sauces, dressings, water, napkins and put up your dirty dishes when you finish.

Ambiance/ location: Cute cafe style with some small tables and bartops. Okay to eat solo. It is in a strip center and can be easily overlooked if you aren’t paying attention.

Overall, it gets the job done if you just want something quick to satisfy your craving and are in the area.

This place is a real gem. You definately wouldn’t think such an amazing eatery existed in this strip but it does. Crepes are mouth watering and a healthy assortment of add ons. Pho soup is so fresh it’s as if you stepped right into Vietnam itself for a quick bite. And not trying the Viet Iced Coffee would be a crime against humanity.

So, so delicious. I’ve had both the crepe and the Vietnamese menu and have been satisfied every time. The place is spotless. The Viet coffee is amazing. The music is always good. My only complaint is that they recently switched to a build-your-own crepe menu when they used to have some premade options, and the build-your-own seems to be more expensive. But overall this is one of my favorite brunches in Louisville and I’ll keep coming back!

I never have the willpower to take a picture of the food before I tear into it. Their banh mi is great, coffees amazing, crepes delicious, and the vegan curry soup is a must. A wonderful lunch spot. Loved them when they were Four Sisters on Frankfort, although the new location is much less cozy.

Very delicious but the crepes are far too expensive for the overall quality of the meal. $2.00 for what is seemingly 2 sliced strawberries inside of a crepe? Chocolate sauce drizzled across the top for $2.00? I would definitely come back more if the prices were better, the fillings were more bountiful or if there were a wider selection of toppings available. I did have a comfortable experience though and the vibe is really chill. The coolest decorations are hand drawn on the wall.

Ngong Appetit is a brunch dream! The sweet and savory crepes are delicious and the pesto is amazing. I love that they have water, jalapenos, basil, and lime out to take. I’m glad they ask how you want your eggs cooked – sometimes a runny yolk just isn’t in the forcast. I wish they had custard though, its my favorite crepe filling!
