I love the staff and the food! They are so polite and the food is always so good! We usually order take out from here but this time we ate in the restaurant! I got a small house strawberry margarita (the perfect size for me!) and the house chimichanga with double rice! Honestly my new favorite Mexican Cuisine place!!

Excellent service, decor, and food. Everything was very tasty and fresh. The salsa and chips were very good. The servers were very friendly and the food came out fast and hot. We’ll definitely be back!

These guys were absolutely amazing. I came in late about 30 minutes before they closed and they were absolutely positively awesome. I got period tacos with consomme rice and beans all were amazing hard to beat it. And I also ordered the beer ramen I did try a little bit it is very good but I’m out there’s on fire from all the peppers that I ordered so I will be eating that for leftovers tomorrow

Located in the old Julie’s Cafe and Catering building, is one of Green Bay’s newest Mexican restaurants, La Cascada.
Lime Margarita on the Rocks: It was good. It comes across more as lemonade. It was still refreshing, and we would have it again – 4
Chips and salsa: The chips were served warm. They had to of been fried in old oil, because they taste and smelled like burned oil. The chips did not have any salt on them. The salsa was really good. It has a slight heat that goes away pretty quickly – 3.5
Only the kiddo ordered tacos today.

It wasn’t flavorful but very juicy. It was good, but could have been better. ($4.00 per taco)
The Choripollo ($18.00) was great. The chicken breasts were thin, very tender and moist. The chorizo was good but a tad too oily. The white queso is just white queso and doesn’t have any chiles in it.
The Jalisco Fajitas ($21.00) are chicken, steak and shrimp. There was a sweeter tomato based sauce on the shrimp which was unique. The meat was all cooked very well. Everything, besides the shrimp, could have used a little more seasonings.
Portion sizes here are pretty decent and the prices were pretty good.
Our server was very nice and our food came out quick.

Great quality food, service was good from the owner, however, it was a little quiet as we were the only customers in the restaurant. It was empty because it’s truly a hidden gem, no one knows about this place, YET. The food was filling, but not to an uncomfortable point. The chips were warm and salsa had nice flavor. The view was nice and the place was decorated well. Bonus points for having soccer highlights on the tv. La cascada deserves more recognition, my family and I all loved our meals. My dad said, “This kind of food has the power to heal your heart,” as his mood was greatly improved after his meal. Genuinely fantastic spot, go give them the love and support they deserve.

Absurdly low quality, especially for the price. We ordered for pickup from very nearby. Taco salad was tasteless, meat was wet, not greasy, but wet and unseasoned. Maybe they didn’t dry the lettuce? But much worse than any other taco salad I’ve had locally. Tacos and chimichangas had only cheddar in them which was a strange choice – if you have to run to the store quick to top up on cheese, mozzarella is probably the least insane choice if they don’t have any mexican cheeses, and it’s neutral and melts well. Cheddar is loud and weird and considering the lack of seasoning, was about the only flavor in each dish. The ribeye tacos were dry and the meat was extremely overdone and the avocados were microwaved which just isn’t acceptable. Not one single human on earth wants to eat microwaved unripe avocados, it makes them slicable, not edible. It’s disgusting and you sub guac or you let the customer know or you offer a discount and say “we don’t have avocados ripe today, sorry”

Bafflingly, the pricing on their website for pickup was worse than uber eats, so it’s possible the prices are more reasonable for dine-in, but even if the prices were the best in town I would still recommend you eat elsewhere.
Strongly recommend you consider el sarape or Rico’s for near-ish sit down places that are generally very good, or La Carreta for the best in the city.

My husband and I tried this restaurant out for the first time tonight! Service was punctual and attentive. Food was hot, delicious and had large portions! View was great and even saw a swan swimming! Will definitely be back.
