A recent pamphlet from Wonder landed in my mailbox and, fittingly, made me ask: what is Wonder? The concept immediately caught my attention—a food‑hall experience where multiple cuisines come together under one kitchen, offering plenty of variety and choice.
My wife and I aren’t usually big fans of takeout; it’s often just “fine.” But since Wonder is only a few minutes away, we decided to give it a try. We placed our order through the app, timed our pickup so the food would be freshly made, and brought it home to enjoy.
The experience started off on a great note. I arrived a few minutes early and chatted with a couple of team members who were friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The space itself was clean and inviting, with a few small tables available for dining in.
As for the food—impressive across the board. My wife ordered the Mediterranean salad with chicken, and I went with the braised short rib paired with mashed potatoes and roasted broccolini. Her salad was a standout: crisp romaine topped with souvlaki chicken, hummus, olives, chickpeas, feta, and a bright lemon dressing. She gave it a well‑earned ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ and declared it the best takeout salad she’s ever had.
My short rib was just as satisfying—tender, flavorful, and filling, with the mashed potatoes and broccolini rounding out the dish perfectly. Another ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ from me.
Overall, Wonder exceeded our expectations. We’ll absolutely be ordering again and look forward to exploring more of their menu.

We ordered in the app. The Detroit veg pizza was melted all over the box and had no red sauce despite the prep instructions on the label and the app description. We paid extra to have teriyaki sauce on our wings. It was also listed on the prep label and the app. Our wings were dry, over cooked and without sauce. When we entered the restaurant to pick up our order it smelled badly of fryer oil that needed to be changed. Then when we called to let someone know of the order short falls we got a national line prompted solely through AI. Despite following all the AI prompts we hung up after 6-7 minutes of no assistance.
We returned for a second try. Better the second time around, but still not worth the price. The second visit we ordered pulled pork. It was barely warm. It was extremely fatty. It was mediocre tasting at best.

My first time visiting Wonder – Jenkintown. I fully understood the concept of one kitchen preparing food for multiple restaurant outlets. The interior of Wonder was very clean and non-pretentious. Ordering on a kiosk terminal was simple and easy. I liked the multiple electronic confirmations of your order’s progress. Onsite staff was very pleasant and welcoming. My order was completed in 11 minutes. My food order was complete and my lunch selection was prepared correctly. All food was very tasty, especially the order of correctly seasoned delicious french fries was so large I could not finish it. My only issue was the side of “cheese sauce” with the cheese fries. I’m not sure what this sauce was, but it was a very poor representation of “cheese sauce”, not even close. It had a liquid consistency that ran right off the fries when dipped. It did not taste cheesy at all and was not even a knock off of Cheese Wiz. Yo, this is the Philly area where excellent cheeze fries have been around for 20 years. Wonder really needs to step up their side of cheese offering associated with their very delicious french fries. I’ll be back to Wonder – Jenkintown to try other dinner selections. No cheeze fries again until they upgrade the dipping sauce.
