On my table at Uptown Pizzeria + Wine Bar:
– Happy Hour Wine (half off bottles!) We opted for a dry cab franc. I mean DRY. They also have $8 selected cocktails. 4-6. Go early!
– Apps were the Arancini di Riso (that’s arancini WITH meatballs inside!) and the Duck Bacon Wontons. Bold contrasting flavors. Representative of the range of shareables.
– The bacon train also pulled into pizza town with the Hog Wild. Outstanding mix of meat, pickles, and a crunchy thin crust.
– We made the most of our window-adjacent scenery with ‘Shroom with a View – a veggie pie on their signature Pinsa Crust (the “pillowy center” was as advertised).

We have been to Uptown a few times for their half off wine on Mondays which is obviously great! Today I tried the New York Sour cocktail and it is delicious. We’ve ordered a number of different pizzas and they are all very good. The stuffed mushrooms are sooo good and we loved the duck wontons. Roland is a fantastic bartender

This was a great night for pizza and wine. We got the sizzle and drizzle, which is their most popular pizza. I’m not a sweet person but husband is, so we gave it a try. He found it a little more sweet then he would want . I liked more then I thought I would if I got a pepperoni with the honey drizzle bite. We enjoyed something different, but won’t get again. I can understand why it is popular for it is good. The wine list is good. Service was great. The patio looks like it would be where I will be when weather gets good! The only comment I have is the art. While very good and interesting it seemed so out of place for the atmosphere? Heard neighboring table say the same, very nice but so not something for a wine bar? Great place.

This is out second time after they changed to the pizzeria. The pizza is awesome. The crust it fluffy but crunchy with generous toppings. I had the Duck Won Tons with Thai chili sauce that were amazing. The drinks are poured well, with perfect blends. Sydney and Rowan were friendly and knowledgeable servers. The atmosphere is more upscale feeling with affordable pricing. Great for a date or a party. We’ll done! We will be back.

Since the switch from a fondue to a pizza-and-wine concept, we were admittedly a bit skeptical—especially with an outstanding pizza spot just a block and a half away. But this place has carved out something entirely its own. The pizza isn’t the same style, and that’s the beauty of it: it’s excellent in its own right and offers a completely different experience.
It’s the kind of spot that’s perfect for a small group looking to enjoy great conversation, good wine, and genuinely excellent service. We’ve been back three times since the change, and each visit has somehow been better than the last. The pizza keeps impressing in addition to the appetizers and desserts. The service is consistently top-notch, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting.
A truly lovely addition to the neighborhood.

Found this wonderful gem. Traveling on road for 9 hours and needed a break. The food was phenomenal. Perfect crust and right amount of toppings so all the flavors hit your palate just right. Wait staff was observant and attentive. Went to find manager to tell them off our experience and come to find out our wait staff was the owner. Simply amazing!! Will recommend to all and would make the 11 hour trip from home just to have that experience again

Fun dinner experience, a good selection of options for each course. It was easy and no issue requesting customization of the dipping options, and they have gluten free and vegan options. The server was well educated on gluten free needs, and had suggestions to limit cross contamination. Give yourself at least 1.5 hours for the 4 course meal, but it was a nice relaxing fun dinner. We’d definitely do it again! (Con: we smelled like oil from the frying after we left)

Four of us very much enjoyed our visit. We ordered every course. We had one fondue pot and one grill for our main course. I recommend this as cooking both ways was fun. Roland our server provided excellent service and explained the process. It is pricey but worth the cost. We were there 3 hours and never felt rushed. If wanting to not spend that much, go and just get appetizers or desert to enjoy the experience. I will return.

Uptown Fondue was a great experience with lots of options on every course. We started with the cheddar ale it came with a nice selection of fruits and vegetables and bread. The Florida salad is amazing. Next, you choose your entree they have lots of choices you get to either grill or boil your meats at the table, and you get lots of sauces to dip in. Dessert was my favorite course. we got peanut butter chocolate, and you get a nice selection to dip in. Overall, it’s a really fun experience. We will be back to try the other cheeses.
