Got the 4 taco deal x 2 on Taco Tuesday.
Honestly beats all the taco places around here. You cannot get this quality and amount for the same price anywhere around. Also loved the chill interaction between the workers while I was waiting for taco.
Also appreciate the salsas and limes being included in the takeout package. I have been going to wrong taco places til now.

This will be my new go to restaurant for Mexican food. The atmosphere is fun and their food is great. It tastes like homemade authentic. And you will be surprised by the portion of dishes, but not by the bill.

Every now and then, after a string of disappointing meals, you get a win—the kind that instantly redeems the day. That’s exactly what happened when I found Tacos CDMX. I was deep into a stressful trip, stuck eating meals I didn’t want but had to, when I spotted this place mid-errand. Something about it just felt right. I made a mental note, doubled back, and before I even placed my order, I knew I’d made the right call.
This spot is essentially what a taco truck would be if it suddenly decided to settle down—casual, unfussy, but bright, cheerful, and spotless inside. The suedero tacos were the real standout—crispy, rich, and easily among the best I’ve ever had. The shrimp tacos were also excellent. The chips? Fantastic. The salsa? Forgettable, but honestly, that didn’t matter because the two house-made sauces for the tacos were on point. And the guy at the counter? Friendly and welcoming.
I didn’t get a chance to go back, but I’ll be in the area again soon for another inevitably stressful visit. The difference this time? I know exactly where I’ll be eating.

I’m blown away by this spot. I stumbled on it by what I thought was an accident, except now I say it was fate. I normally have to travel a good distance for excellent tacos but not any more. The food is fantastic and full of flavor. Everyone is so nice there too. This is my new go-to spot.

As a Hispanic person in a predominantly white town like Westwood, the rate on this store does not match their true authenticity. This is what a true Mexican restaurant is like and the ambience matches that as well. The food is incredible and despite its look I promise you this is as close as you can get to a perfect taco. I recommend a classic bistec taco and a tall glass bottle of coke. This is extremely refreshing to feel and see my culture up close and feel close to home even here in Jersey. Again I’ve been eating tacos my ENTIRE life and can confirm this place deserves 5 stars. You don’t need an extremely fancy set up or overpriced anything to make the food taste better. This is overall the one of the best Mexican restaurants in the county.

This place is phenomenal, don’t waste your time and hard earned money going somewhere else because we found the hidden treasure in Bergen County.
Every taco they have is good. I got it yesterday for dinner then had to get it again for lunch today. The carnitas are #1 – melt in your mouth. Al pastor is up there along with their shredded beef, their tinga (shredded chicken) is great too. They also have spicy sausage (amazing) options and fish options. I will eat every damn meal here.
Tacos come on a doubled corn tortilla and are loaded wjth meat, onions and cilantro. Their house sauces are great too. I gave a 4/5 for atmosphere and the reason is that the food is too amazing to be a walk up order and sit place. These tacos deserve to be on the menu at a fine Mexican dining restaurant. I’m digging the scenery & architecture in there, but they should utilize the space that they have better.
I’ve had tacos all over in NJ/NY – this blows midtown tacos out of the water and they’ve secured a spot in my top 3 go to /recommend and are fighting hard for the first spot. They’re also open until 10pm on Friday and Saturday and 9:30 all week! The other guys close at 8:30 for some reason and it is irritating.
I’m so happy this place is nearby. Staff are friendly and hard working – and quick as tacos should be. The lady at the front is sweet and has great recommendations, and they have chips that are made on site when you eat there.
I can’t wait to go back. Some of the best Mexican food I have ever had hands down. My friends and family love it too. I paid $53 for 12 tacos which come in orders of 4 and can be split by type 2-2. Nearby taco places are doing 15 and change for 1 less taco!

Food was absolutely horrid, got this delivered to my house. This was what I ordered, had to put it into plastic tub because it was leaking juice all over the bag and spilling out. The smell was nauseating. I had to get my 3 year old daughter to remove this from my house and place it on the steps for the raccoon to eat. I will never eat here again, this was the worst most disgusting experience of my life.
