This place doesn’t deserve any stars, we just purchased a cake from them today & as soon as we cut into it it was green and moldy, tasted super weird. Unfortunately people did ingest this cake. I will continue to report this company because god forbid any of my family members get sick because of this!!!!! Please do not support businesses who do not care about what they’re selling or how to properly handle and make food that people ingest! It is disgusting!! I walked in to show them what they had sold us & the employee was laughing the whole time.

I bought their pan de muerto; one with sugar and the other one in the box with some brown crumbs that the lady said it has been purchased a lot. The bread was horribly dry, would not come back here again. This is nothing close to the original Chapala bakery in Montebello(which their bread is delicious, but location is horrible, wish they relocated to a better place).

Would be 5 stars if they served the tamales hot and with salsa.
Tamales are dry, the owner/bakers attitude is horrible. And she doesn’t even know how to communicate with her customers when we ask for something. She seems annoyed when you ask for something. As a business owner she should provide the best hospital service so we can come back. I understand she’s the one cooking and providing customer service so if it’s too much to handle hire someone else to relief some stress.

There bread is the best. Employees are rude. They don’t allow any phone orders. You need something in quantity! U need to go in person order and pay. Why not order over the phone in advance and pay. No u need to go twice to order in advance in person. Then pick up. And who ever ordered? Needs to pick up as well. Ridiculous

The bread is good and it’s upsetting because the customer service is horrible now days! There is this young girl that always throws the pan dulce in the bag. All my pan dulce was broken into pieces. She is rude. I have ask her many times not to do that. I will just not go back.

Came in early morning to get some bread which they were open already but were still barely setting up and I ask the lady for a tray and responding asking what? But with an attitude… felt very uncomfortable. Didn’t feel welcoming here.
