Let me start off by saying I am a huge seafood lover and this did not disappoint! I gave everything 5 stars because the food was great. The crab dip was the best I have ever had. I will say the only thing we were disappointed with was the way the chips came out with the dip. They were a little stale and we seem to have gotten the very end of the bag. Personally I would have never served it like that to a customer. Pic below. Other than that our food was great and we will definitely be back. I do see a lot of negative comments about the little boy that was helping serve the food. Personally we think he did a fantastic job. We even gave him a small tip. People need to remember if you dine at a family run restaurant there are usually even little ones helping out. My only other suggestion would be to maybe have a less spicy option for the boil bag. I ordered the less spicy and it was still a little too much for me but the flavor was good!

After three times eating here Eight O One is an official 1st rounder in my restaurant rotation. The food has been on point every time. There’s a huge selection and if you’re not a heavy seafood person like me there are still plenty of options.
Each time we’ve been here the owner made it a point to come over and check on us. Even other servers who weren’t handling our table stopped to see if we needed anything. The epitome of what you want in a local restaurant.

my friends and I decided this year to meet once a month and try a new restaurant. this restaurant was chosen to start off our new tradition and I must say we were the furthest thing from disappointed that you could possibly be. the food was amazing, the vibes were top tier and the owner was one of the sweetest people I think I’ve ever met! I felt welcomed from the moment I walked in the door. He answered any question we may have had as well as updating us on things they have planned in the future! while we’re on this journey to try new restaurants I know that this will still be a place we come back and visit in between. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone!

Had a great lunch here today! Great baked/ raw oysters- broccoli cheddar crab stew- huge pretzel w/ yummy cheese sauce & boys loved their Mac n cheese! Owner was so nice to show boys how to shuck raw oysters & even gave them a tour in back of all the fresh seafood they serve! Thanks for a memorable lunch!!!!

My friend and I wanted to try out this place as soon as it opened! The crab dip and the snow crab legs were amazing! The owner made a point to speak with us multiples times to make sure everything was well. Definitely a great place to feel like having a date night at the beach!

This is the worst restaurant I have ever been too, we went in a fairly big party every single person at the table had something wrong with their food, eggs were hard as a rock, shrimp over cooked, corn frozen, it was absolutely disgusting & ridiculous! The waitress we had was very accommodating and it wasn’t her fault ! But we won’t be back!!

Went here tonight as a family of 7. One being a baby who couldn’t eat. Upon entry the staff and customers were very friendly and welcoming. The place was almost at full capacity minus one table which guests kindly offered their extra chairs to accommodate us.
There is 7 of us so we expect it to be expensive but for the amount of food we received it was absolutely deceiving. The food all arrived at different times and looked dried up and left over. We ordered crab dip and there wasn’t even enough chips to cover half of the bowl of dip. The food had absolutely no flavor, my kids wouldn’t even eat the corn on the cob or the mashed potatoes. All kids love mashed potatoes!
The food was also barely warm. It did not taste fresh at all. We spent 204$ on food and my kids asked to go to McDonalds because they were still hungry due to portion size.
We were excited to try somewhere new and respect that it’s a family owned restaurant. The owner or possibly a manger came over and asked how everything was and I told him it was disappointing and lacked flavor and his response was “usually they put too much flavor but they must not have put enough tonight.” The staff and guests like I said were very welcoming but the food was horrible and we won’t be returning.
I’ve never left a review about a restaurant before but I’m extremely disappointed.

This place was amazing. Nina was so friendly and we were well taken care of. Happy hour prices are unmatched. The crab and fish were so fresh. I can’t wait to go back.

The place seemed really clean. The staff was very nice. The amount is good too. The only issue I had was the boil with the large king crab was way too spicy. I think the cook dumped in some hot pepper because it was way spicy. I may go back and give them another try. I can say their burger was quite good. Give them a try it’s a new business and sometimes you have different cooks on duty.
