It’s finally owned by someone that gives a SHIT!!!!!!!!! The food is absolutely % delicious!!!!! It’s VERY VERY VERY CLEAN. And the atmosphere haa completely changed for the BETTER. From the moment you walk in it feels so inviting and welcoming ( and it smells so clean) what they have done to this place in the last years is JAW dropping!!!! So go and have some good food and why your at it maybe some good laughs to go with your good food!!!!! Don’t forget to tell tour friends!!!!! Thank you to the new owner for turning our local bar into a place us locals can come get some good food in a clean and absolutely fun environment

Absolute must! Amazing food and great vibe. Get the chopped cheese… you won’t be disappointed! Oh and a smash burger (brisket and tri-tip ground in house)! And the pastrami does not suck! They smoke everything in house! A great spot to grab a pint and enjoy some amazing food!!

I live in the neighborhood so I stopped in here to see what it was like under the new ownership. The blonde behind the bar acted like I wasn’t even there. I ordered food and a beer when she finally did come around and my food came out before I even got my beer. The food was pretty good. ItnWas the only redeeming quality of this place. The cook was thorough and attentive, i think he said his name was Mickey. And don’t get me started on the flies. They were literally everywhere. They had these little devices on each table with a propeller that spins like a fan , but horizontally to discourage the flies from landing on your food. So that you’re sensitive to pests , you should stay away from this place. I feel like this place has a lot of potential if they would just hire a bartender who feels motivated to serve people when they come in. I’d rather drive to junction city or harrisburg , where I can get a beer in under twenty minutes

Had the pastrami smash burger. Amazing meat quality with the home ground beef and home smoked pastrami. Excellent grill seasoning, cheese melted perfectly. Toasted brioche burger was soft and flavorful but held up to the meat. Definitely a top 10 burger in oregon!

I don’t care where you live jump in your car and GO TO THIS BAR NOW!!! BEST burger I’ve EVER eaten with the COLDEST beer BEST service (think it might have been the owner) fast attentive friendly and HUMBLE! SUPER affordable. VERY clean and did I mention COLD BEER! If you want a dive bar with a 5 star atmosphere and a future James beard award candidate menu you have to check it out. This review is courtesy of your traveling food snob!

The new ownership is a smashing success! This has become a very pleasant and relaxed place to come eat, get a couple drinks, and even enjoy karaoke or some live music. The prices are extremely reasonable for both drinks and food..
I have one slight quibble and that’s the fact that as a vegetarian there’s not much on the menu for me. They have salads which I’ll try one day but let’s face it that’s not what most of us go out to eat for However they make a FANTASTIC off menu grilled cheese sandwich and the fries are excellent. It definitely won’t stop me from coming here.
Aaron Kimball set the tone beautifully with some relaxing live music and excellent acoustic guitar in the fenced outdoor patio area this evening!

Wandered in for lunch with low expectations and was very surprised at the modern menu, featuring smash burgers. This place is ELITE. Food, service, interior all fantastic. How does one of the best restaurants in the state end up in little Halsey Oregon? I have no idea. If you’re on I-5 right now and reading this hit the Halsey exit and check it out, you will not be disappointed.
