The tacos werent too flavorful, they are very frugal with their meat and the way they just plop the guac on one end of the soft taco i dont know how i feel about it. The crunchy taco has potential if the meat had more flavor.

This is an update to my review as Pembroke Deli has moved in 2020 to 56 Padanaram Rd, which is in the little strip of shops with Pho Vietnam in it and across from Jim Barbarie’s.
Without a doubt this is some of the best Mexican food going on anywhere in the area! They have a broad menu that will please anyone including breakfast (hint: try the Chorizo, Egg and Cheese!). And yes you can get the basics like a burger, a salad, or a chicken cutlet sandwich and they’re all great, but why pass up a monster Chimichangas or what I consider the most spectacular on the menu: a chicken, pork, or steak Tortas!
The food is excellent – made with high quality ingredients and visually appealing. The staff are very friendly and the prices are low for the meal that you get. Their new space is bright and clean with limited seating both indoors and out. This is a great alternative to the hundreds of deli’s in the area that all have essentially the same menu of grinders. Highly recommended.

We’ve been here a few times during covid. Today was excellent Pastor Burrito Supreme, Carnita Burrito Supreme, Cheese Empanadas. Reasonably priced delicious Mexican food. Safe curb-side pickup from friendly staff.

If it wasn’t for the most recent price increase I would have given this place 5 stars.
Now I’ll explain – I ordered food using their menu via phone. According to the menu the price of the item I bought should have been $20. When I got there I was quoted a price of $30. While I could have argued and stated the menu online said a different price I just paid and left. Probably a recent change that they didn’t have time to update.
The food is good, but the prices are near (or more than) most sit down restaurants of the same/similar quality in the area.
But I’ve never had a bad meal here. From the empanadas, to their burritos. Even their tacos and breakfast food is great. I’d recommend this place in a heartbeat if you live nearby.

Was pleasantly surprised. Thought it was a typical American deli. It is Spanish food mainly but so far I ordered the steak sandwich and it was the best I ever ate. The beans and rice, Cobb salad was also delicious. Clean and friendly

We’ve gotten the chicken avocado salad numerous times already. It’s SO great and light, plenty of chicken and avocado. The best part is it’s already pre-tossed with a lime cilantro dressing. I just tried the beef empanadas and they are FANTASTIC as well. Everything was made fresh. I HIGHLY recommend this place. The owner was very friendly as well. Looking forward to trying more!
