This place is one of a kind. From the atmosphere to the customer service. Walking in you see the amazing mural they have on the back wall but you also get an instant aroma of the delicious food they have brewing. Jesse’s friendly face at the counter invites you in and his knowledge of the food leaves you conflicted on what to order. I had a classic, their menudo. It came with handmade tortillas and their taco bar has the most flavorful red salsa I’ve ever had. Perfect combination for the menudo. I also had an agua fresca. Their cucumber mint was refreshing. My girlfriend had their pozole. Although I didn’t taste it I couldn’t help but steal one of her tostadas, slap on some of that red salsa and some cheese and sour cream. To finish it off we had a plátano frito with lechera. Honestly, everything was to die for. Will definitely be back for more. We were left with a craving for their specialty, their huarache.

Mixed Experience – Great Drinks, but Not Kid-Friendly
I really wanted to love Reynada Cucina & Amor, but our family visit was a bit of a rollercoaster. There were some highlights, but several issues made the experience difficult for those traveling with little ones.
The Food & Drink
The standout of the meal was definitely the Horchata—it was fantastic and easily the best part of the experience. As for the main course:
Carne Asada Burritos: Good, but not necessarily great.
Spice Level: This was our biggest issue. We specifically asked for mild salsa for the kids’ burrito and quesadilla, but the food was so spicy they couldn’t even eat it.
Atmosphere & Service
The cleanliness was disappointing. Every single table in the restaurant was dirty when we arrived, and since we were the only customers there, we had to ask the staff to clean one so we could sit down. Additionally, I noticed the chef was not wearing gloves while preparing our food, which is a bit concerning from a hygiene standpoint.
The Entertainment Choice
The most upsetting part of our visit was the TV programming. We were there with three children under the age of seven, and the restaurant was playing The Hunger Games. My daughter saw a graphic scene of someone being shot with an arrow, and it was quite bloody. She actually had trouble sleeping that night because of it. I’d strongly suggest the management switch to something more family-friendly, especially when young children are present.
Summary: If you’re looking for a great Horchata and don’t mind a bit of heat, this place is fine for takeout. However, I wouldn’t recommend it for a sit-down family meal until they address the cleanliness and the TV content.

First time trying a birria burrito and it was amazing compared with the price! The restaurant had great complimentary chips and grilled onion/jalapeno on the side. Self-serve salsa/garnish (everything tasted amazing) and water station. Great little joint and makes you feel the warmth from the owners/workers. Not sure how to explain it, but that’s what I felt.
Service was quick. Food was delicious. Restroom was nice and tidy. I’m definitely coming back to try their other items!

The food and salsa is so GOOD! I’m Mexican American and this is as Authentic as it gets. It is like eating in a Mexican person’s home, they just opened the door and let you in. Our visit started out bad because the young thin lady with the long braid who took our order was super rude, irritated, and impatient. No one else was behind us we just asked a couple of questions but it was like she was mad we were there making her work. If the food wasn’t good I’d never go back but it was. The quesabirria tacos were SO GOOD. The asada was good in the tacos. The chips were freshly made. The AVOCADO SALSA….WOW… BEST SALSA EVER! The rice and beans were alright. The tomatillo salsa was good too. I just wish they had limes, they have cucumber slices. They have Mexican cokes which is great. It is so pretty inside and the gentleman who cooked was warm and friendly. Just get rid of that girl or have her do another job besides order taking because she’s going to drive customers away, people don’t like to be treated badly.

I’m glad a stumbled into this wonderful gem in Westlake Village/Thousand Oaks. They have a lot of the standards but also include many hard-to-find dishes, at least hard-to-find in TO/WLV, such as mulitas, queso birria tacos, and huaraches.
Upon the recommendation of the young lady at the counter, I ordered the costillos en salsa verde (pork ribs in green chile sauce) and they were amazing. The ribs were very tender and the sauce had a nice little kick to it but not too spicy. The handmade corn tortillas were delicious, freshly made, and had a nice fresh masa flavor.
At $17.50, it wasn’t cheap but well worth it. The portions were very generous, enough for two people or to take home for a second meal.
The service was friendly and my only qualm (a very small qualm) is that when my order was ready, they called me to the counter instead of bringing it to my table, even though I was the only customer in the restaurant. Lol.
The restaurant style is fast casual: you order and at the counter. The seating is somewhat limited and the dining room is nicely decorated.
I will definitely be working Ronalda’s into my regular lunch and dinner rotation. I’m really rooting for the owners to succeed.

I’m a regular at this spot for their queso birria tacos. Best in TO/westlake area . The burritos and tacos (esp homemade tortillas ) are pretty solid as well. Great service and a really nice salsa bar.

Small mom and pop type of establishment which delivers on those burrito/taco cravings. Reasonably priced and you also get a good amount of food. Good guac and homemade chips. The handmade tortillas are killer and definitely add to the quality of the taste. More of a casual experience or pick up. There is indoor seating though its somewhat limited. They do have a salsa bar with 3 different types of salsa as well as onions, cilantro, limes, pickled onions/veg., etc…
