I’ve had their pizza twice and both times it’s been excellent- the crust is perfection and the toppings and cheese spread evenly over the tasty sauce. Looking forward to trying out more pizzas in the future, as it’s become a favourite when we’re in the area.

I took my elderly Dad here for a little bite of lunch and it was quite excllent, we were both very pleased.

It was around 1 or so and my dad was craving Mexican food on our visit and he was sure there was a place at Deer Park Shopping Center (I think thats the name). We didnt find Mexican food but we did find Mangiamo, a little cozy place. It really reminds me of the tiny spots my family would go to in MX, LA, old school San Diego and old school Santa Cruz. Those places that are informal, laid back, interesting and you only know it’s there if you already know its there. And boy are you cool if you know its there. (Maybe they need a bigger sign?)

The food was amazing! Our calzones were made fresh to order. The dough was perfectly cooked with no raw spots in the thicker parts and no burnt spots in the thinner parts. The cheese was tasty and melty but not runny or messy. The vegetables were cooked yet crunchy, if you have a pizza or calzone and the veggies are mushy it means they are not fresh! Crunch means the vegetables are fresh. Me and my father both liked how the crust looked. It reminded us of the way grandma would crimp her pie crusts. If there was one thing I could change it would be the marinara sauce that came on the side, I would use thinner sauce kept at a warmer temperature. Although part of me thinks that the cold thick sauce was meant to cool off the hot dough fresh out of the oven, since thats what I found myself doing. That being said I still give the food 5 stars. Reasonable price and nice portion size too.

The service was good. I think only one person was working (it was Labor Day) and if someone was helping them it would have been an easy 5 stars. I dont give them 4 stars as anything against them bc I worked a pizza place alone in Felton and it is very challenging to keep customers service at 5 stars in that situation. I do think they did the very best they could for us though, we were not the only customers there and they spoke respectfully to my father, ++. Only thing I would change for service is giving support to the employees bc they were doing their best multitasking.

There wasnt a lot of art or decor on the walls, no TV either. But it was very clean and organized for being such a small place. I did not check out their bathroom but they did have one available. After we left I looked at their pictures online and it makes me wonder if this place is sun downing? If they are PLEASE GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS! ITS A GREAT PLACE! And if not I think its a good idea to spend a lil money on decor. The atmosphere could be boosted easily in one day with a trip to Ross or Marshalls.

One last note: More beer and wine would be cool. Maybe bc its in a semi-business park that they can only serve a lil bit of alcohol? Not sure but more beer and wine on the menu would be great.

There was a lil family eating when we were leaving, seems like a nice lil spot for mom and dad to have a drink with the kids.

All in all its an easy 4.5 stars for a young man and his elderly father. Now that I know this is here next to my dads place I look forward to having more ‘zones for lunch, not sure how late they are open but maybe we’ll get some pies for dinner too. This seems like a place for locals by locals, its more personal than Pizza My Heart with the same if not better quality.
Go check em out!

If you are looking for delicious pizzas to enjoy with friends and family at a clean location and with very friendly and helpful staff, then Mangiamos Pizza is definitely the number one place to visit. The pizzas are great with plenty of toppings, a really flavorful sauce and a non-chewy crust, plus the fast service at a reasonable price. I highly recommend this pizzeria.

We stopped in for pizza but walked out due to the rude and bizarre service. We greeted the woman at the counter and asked for a menu. She said, “They’re behind the tea,” which made no sense. We looked around confused, and she repeated it—never once offering to hand us a menu that was clearly hidden behind a row of beer bottles behind the counter.

Things only got worse from there. The final straw was the pizza maker chiming in with a few rude comments of his own. We left and won’t be back.

I checked it out one night when I was shopping at deluxe, two nights later I ordered a pizza large pepperoni and it arrived one hour later at my hotel room fantastic excellent delicious. What can I say there’s nothing better than not having to go out and pick up a pizza, the delivery man was very nice I wanted to give him a glass but he had things to do. Unbelievable pizza in the heartland of Aptos.

Nice old school spot in Aptos. The pizza is nice, quite thin. I would say it’s best to dine in so it stays piping hot. Staff is super friendly and cajz.

$40 for a large pepperoni delivered (included driver tip) the crust was super chewy and extremely thin. Had an odd smell to it too. They say they had “New York style” pizza but it was nothing close. The pizza from Costco taste better than this place. You’d think if your going to try to tout your business as a superb pizza joint you’d put out nothing but quality pizzas. If the owner sees this do yourself a solid and order a pizza delivered to yourself anonymously and see if you’d order again because I sure won’t be. Good luck.

OK Mangiamo, here it goes. First time I tried their Pizza I didn’t care for it and I think it was because it doesn’t fit neatly into a traditional pizza bucket. It’s not New York style, too thick. It’s definitely not Neapolitan, too much sauce and everything else. Not Greek, crust is more pie crust like than the heavy Greek doughy crust. It’s not Chicago as the toppings are on top. Mangiamo does something all their own. It has a crust like a Chicago, spicy sauce like nobody, and thickness level that seems just right. The combo sans olives is my go to. They still have their own delivery which I love. I swear one night I had a pizza in my hand 20 minutes after I called it in, piping hot and delicious. It’s also nice to see local kids getting these delivery jobs. Enjoy!

As I walked in I was greeted by Kianna who was very polite and patient with me as I ordered several pizzas for my coworkers Pizza party I was having for them. Pizza was very tasty and to our satisfaction. The place was very clean and the environment was nice with plenty of tables for inside dining. I highly recommend Mangiamo Pizza for your party or take out.
