UPDATE:
Since the original post, this location has gotten significantly better at reducing prep times, and the sandwiches more closely resemble the menu pictures, i.e. they aren’t skimping on the ingredients like they were the first few times we visited.
To whoever did what needed to be done to get this place on track – great job.

Thus far, the worst Firehouse Subs that I’ve been to, and I’ve been here several times.
My basic sandwich order (i.e. I’m not customizing anything) of two to three sandwiches has consistently been more than 10 minutes late (after arrival since I order ahead). So, that’s more than half an hour this place has my order in their system and they still can’t get them made on time.
Secondly, the sandwiches are super skimpy. I know that marketing makes food look amazing, but compared to what you see on the menu, these sandwiches don’t come close. The pic is of the smokehouse beef & cheddar that I got compared to what the site shows.

Overcharged me 1.50 for a few drops of cheese on my chili. Overall my hook and ladder was great,as was chili.
But should not charge extra for a cube of cheese,or demanded a TIP. Update to today’s visit 1-6-2025. Got. Club on Sub and came with unwanted item of paper.

I walked in this evening looking forward to having a good Hook & Ladder sub. Waited 5 minutes at tge register for someone to tell me we’ll be with you in a few minutes. Used the restroom, came out and waited another 2 minutes. I asked when will someone be able to take my order and was told it would be another few minutes.
Meanwhile, there are 3 employees, all filling online orders and not 1 to attend to your in store customer.
I told the lady there that if you have a walk-in customer and there are 3 of you behind the counter, then 1 should stop to tend to the in-store customer while the other 2 continued to fill the online orders.
I have been here before and have never experienced the very poor customer service I experienced this evening. I left without placing an order.
It’s a shame because I love Firehouse Subs but this location really needs to focus on customer service at all levels. (Online & In-person)

We have ate at a few Firehouse Subs in the area but find this store makes the best ones! You can’t beat the special of 2/$20 large subs! I customize them and they alsways get them right! Great subs! I must live 2 subs away as I place my order on the app when leaving the house and they are waiting on me when I arrive. 🙂

Food was good but I asked for lettuce and tomato in my sandwich which they forgot about. It’s not the biggest deal in the world but it was also my first time going to a firehouse subs so I guess it left me with a bad impression.

Ok firehouse. If I’m spending 19.99 on a medium sandwich and drink please don’t ask if I want to leave a tip, then proceed to ask me if I want to round up to the nearest dollar and explain how much it would be if I did so. Good reminder of why I never eat there and now probably won’t ever again. Way better options all around you for half the price.

Love this place. When I worked in North Austin, I used to visit the Firehouse Subs in Round Rock all the time, so I was really excited when this location opened—and it hasn’t disappointed. The food is consistently good and made to order. Occasionally an online order runs a few minutes behind, but it’s usually no more than a five‑minute wait once I arrive.
I also appreciate that the combo includes any size drink, which is a nice touch. We’re frequent customers, and this location continues to be one of our go‑to spots.

I just waited almost a full hour for one sandwich. I truly don’t understand how an entire store can be left to run with only 2 people. Maybe if there was more staff it wouldn’t take an hour to make a simple turkey and cheese sandwich, absurd tbh.

We used Firehouse Subs for our a large lunch order for our High School Band Program. Manager, Katie, and employee, Amanda, went over and above for us!!! Their communication was wonderful. Their timing was on-point. They came in early to accommodate our early meal service. I will be back – and I appreciate everything they did to feed our large group!
