In case the franchise owner is not aware, Five Guys *was* pretty well known for providing the illusion of giving their customers an unfathomable amount of fries. That’s the whole point of them giving you the various paper cups; filling the already respectable cup sizes, then filling the bag with even more. The illusion of having overflowing amounts of fries spilling into the bag is lost when you’re using these small fry bags that only have a fistful or two of fries. Even the amount of the fries you get in the bag does not compare to what it used to be.
I went back in to the restaurant to confirm if they actually gave me the proper amount, giving them the benefit of doubt that they had given me the small brown fry bag on accident from the first time I ordered the little fry and that I was actually was suppose to receive a small white cup for a regular size now, but no, they instead show me that all the fry sizes for the location were these tiny brown bags in marginally increased sizes for the cost of $5.79, 7.49, and $9.09 respectively as of the time of writing. The bags themselves were so indiscernible to one another, how can I even trust that the employees are even giving me the sized I paid for? Now I just feel like I’m being cheated of out of my money, which I definitely am because even after eating the double patty burger, which is noticeably small as well, I’m not even full, which is absurd for having spent $20 here.
The quality of the food hasn’t declined, but the value proposition has never been worse. I won’t be coming here again.
Staff are very friendly and nice
