I had the pleasure of visiting this beautifully decorated Mexican food truck today on the recommendation of a friend. This is not chain quality food. This feels and tastes more like home cooked. The portions are HUGE and the price is more than fair! The employee who took my order was very friendly. It’s a totally different game when you love what you do. The quality of the food and customer service reflect the dedication to their work.
If you have a craving for Mexican and find yourself nearby, you will not regret trying Tacos Al Pastor!

No wonder the reviews are so consistently good. This “taco truck” is serving a nearly full-fledged authentic Mexican menu at nearly HALF cost of a sit-in restaurant. Not only that, but the quality of ingredients is amazing! It seems that many Mexican restaurants save costs by using lower quality meats in their dishes. I could really tell how moist and fresh their whole lineup is. Al Pastor, shredded chicken, and even their ground beef was all very tasty. My wife is a nacho fiend and she had only good things to say about the super nachos. Before moving here there was a local taco truck that we visited regularly. It was good, but with this place’s menu, care they put into making their food, and their friendliness, this place blows it out of the water.

Tried for the first time tonight and it’s officially our new favorite Mexican restaurant!
We had a chicken burrito, pastor, chorizo, and birria tacos. The burrito and Burria tacos were our favorite!
All their food tastes far more authentic than the ‘larger’ Mexican restaurants in Bloomington.
Hate that we’ve waited so long to try! Our new weekly spot, for sure!

I used to eat here four days a week, but I’ve noticed recently in the last couple of months that quality has gone downhill fast. Sometimes I have my orders DoorDash and when they used to include extra lime and salsa for me, they no longer do that seriously a tiny side of salsa and a couple of limes. Apparently, it’s too much to ask for after being a long time customer of theirs I’m absolutely done at this point in time and I’m gonna make sure that everyone that I told to go here doesn’t go here anymore because this is ridiculous. I know that sometimes issues happen but consistency is key when you’re in the food business and they’ve consistently in the last two months, decided that they’re no longer gonna go above and beyond, so I’m no longer gonna be a customer.

If you are driving to 3rd street for Taco Bell you are wasting your time and money. This place is ridiculously amazing! I’ve had the tamales, the burrito, the nachos, the chicken quesadills and every bite is wonderful! Don’t sleep on this taco truck! It’s off the main path of Bloomington but we’ll worth the drive no matter where you’re at! Amazing portion sizes!

Delicious, out of the way food truck! I ordered 2 basic, ground beef tacos with just lettuce and cheese. These tacos were stuffed full! It was like eating 12 Taco Bell tacos, and unlike Taco Bell, these tacos were actually delicious. I spent $10 after tip, and it was well worth it. One Taco was enough to fill me up, but I had to eat the second because the first was so good. I highly recommend the next time you are craving good tacos, you swing by this food truck and bypass the Bell!
