Update. I went back and got the burger and fries. Excellent as well. Definitely a homemade burger! Hot, fresh and delicious. I will be back!
Fantastic! I found the place on Google and it did not disappoint. I had the fish and shrimp plate with greens and dirty rice. Seasoned well. The tarter sauce was excellent! I can’t wait to try other items on the menu. I will definitely e back.

We were driving home and googled restaurants and this place popped up and let me tell you I am so glad it did. We both had the shrimp poboy. One of the best I have ever had. Seasoned perfectly!!! The owner was a wonderful man and loved the atmosphere and the music playing.

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover. This old building is not great. It’s almost scary on the outside. The owner has done some modest decorating on the inside. It fits the food being an all Louisiana decor. The food, from seafood to BBQ is all very good. The ribs were fantastic. The dirty rice was meaty and very good. I will be back.

Happened to stumble upon Smitty’s due to a Google search from the highway. Stopped by initially for take out, but decided to stay due to the amazing hospitality. Enjoyed and split a delicious fish po’boy and shrimp po’boy, and some sweet tea. First time in Louisiana, but won’t be the last! Looking forward to returning soon! Highly recommended!!

Definitely worth the stop. His food is great! Stopped in based on a friend’s recommendation didnt know what to order. I asked smitty to surprise me and he makes an awesome fish poboy. Will be stopping in at least once a week.

Sometimes you find special places that are out of the way and I was surprised to find this restaurant in Rayville. Shrimp Poboy and Mac and Cheese was a great lunch .

The food slaps. Best collard greens I’ve ever had. Wife and I were on a vacation in the south looking for unpretentious restaurants in unpretentious places and smittys fit the bill so we stopped off for lunch as we cruised from the Gulf up to Arkansas.
