A wonderful dining experience. The staff are attentive and welcoming. My friend and I came for the Friday lobster special but everything we’ve tried on the menu so far has been excellent. They have a lovely set up so you can sit inside or out on the covered patio.

If you have not come to visit this place yet, you are truly missing out. Chef Roberto Rose has put together an incredible food menu unlike anything around Discovery Bay and I have personally watched as he and my parents worked so hard on the wine selection. Some might say I am biased because my father is one of the owners, however, if you know me, you know how picky of an eater I am! I have worked my way through half of the menu and everything has been full of flavor and oh so delicious!

The ambiance is very relaxing and I can tell this is going to be a great place to unwind from a long day. It is so great to see so many familiar faces coming through to show their support!

Be adventurous and try one of everything! You won’t regret it as each dish is put together with so much flavor and you can truly taste the passion that chef puts into his dishes. You can see him beaming with pride as he runs out to greet guests and explain his dishes to those that ask. Stop on by to say hi and don’t forget to tell them I sent you!

This place is a must visit if you stop in the small town of Discovery Bay. The chef is an award winning culinary artist.

I started with an Old Fashioned whiskey drink as always. It was both tasty and strong. Orange was on the bottom and a huge single ball of ice.

Next I tried the Manhattan Clam Chowder, which I didnt know was a thing. It’s orange in color unlike the white creamy New England clam chowder. It was filled to capacity with veggies and clams in a fish stock.

I had some bread with EVOO and balsamic reduction. While this was very good, the bread was not warm. It wasn’t complimentary, so for $6 it’s fair to expect warm bread. Texture was good and it did taste amazing.

The wine country salad was ok, but overloaded with olives. I’m not a fan of olives , but didnt want to ask for it without them.

I finished with another old fashioned and the Pawn & Garlic Ravioli. When I tell you that this was a flavor explosion… OMG, this was worth the trip here alone. I’d come back for it. It has prawn, garlic and cheese in the pasta, then it’s suspended in a red sauce with more prawn surrounding it. Whew…I’m having flashbacks.

Food was ok. Service was poor at best. Atmosphere felt very cheap. The owner seems unstable.
Edit: Not a “keyboard troll”, just someone who was far from impressed with this place. I still stand by my rating. This place was a big disappointment. There are better places to eat in Discovery Bay.

Hidden gem in Disco — Best food around and the service is always friendly, quick, and warm. I wish we could make it more often because we are always happy at this place. Chef will come to your table and chat – especially when there’s a new item or something special on the menu to see how you liked it. Tapas and wine…. Yes please!

Did the private Sunday brunch that came with 5 courses and a buffet style breakfast. 5 courses came out on time every time, were of very high quality, and the buffet was excellent. Great value, great experience. Have to sign up in advance. Highly recommend

PS the black garlic asparagus shooters might be the best soup I’ve ever had. No BS

This is an excellent place with extraordinary food and an inviting atmosphere. Stop in to enjoy a glass of wine and to find out what culinary miracle Chef Robert has whipped up that is not on the menu.

I went here for a post Mother’s Day dinner with my mom and it was pretty good. It’s always weird to get a good meal in a burned out strip mall but good food trumps all. She wanted to come here for the lobster they offer in limited supply on Fridays and it was pricey but well worth it. The menu was limited but everything looked good and tasted great. They offer a large wine selection and service was fair. My mom had enough lobster to last for days.
