Usually their drinks are really good. I’ve ordered the new ice horchata oatmeal shaken espresso 3 times and 2 of the times it didn’t taste the horchata drink I got the first time. Then I noticed on my cup, the tag says GR BR SGR. So I inquired the workers about the drink and told them I didn’t want the brown sugar espresso. And they said my drink was the new Horchata espresso, but they said the Horchata has brown sugar and it also and it’s really similar. I will drink it, but I loved the first Horchata drink.

My wife and I visit this location almost every Saturday and Sunday. We have been doing so since they opened. Like most small businesses the employees make up the face of the company and directly effect your experience. We have always been treated kindly and with respect. Yes on rare occasion an order may get messed up, but on those occasions they quickly corrected it. That’s all you can ask from anyone. I know I’m not perfect all the time, don’t believe me? Ask my wife lol
I’ve been to a lot of Starbucks across this country and this is still my favorite one to visit. Hope they are there for many years to come.

This is the best Starbucks by far. They have the friendliest staff and the quickest service. The best coffee I’ve ever had at any Starbucks was there and it was made by Dakota. Also when I stop in the mornings there is a lady there named Angela who is super friendly and fun to talk to. I highly recommend this Starbucks.

The Grain Valley Starbucks is incredibly wonderful and professional. I work at a different location but come to shop the Grain Valley store often and have never had an issue from any department, Starbucks included. Every employee is always so welcoming and nice and if I’ve ever had an issue with a product or finding something or had questions, they were amazing. I prefer going to this Starbucks over North 7 Highway and Blue Springs South store because they’re the only ones who get my order right EVERY TIME! Keep up the great work Starbucks crew (and Grain Valley Price Chopper, too)! 🙂

I don’t live close to a starbucks location. But then this one was built inside of a price chopper and I was super excited! Sadly, I have never EVER had a good experience here. Even when they were first open, I once got a frappuccino and they failed to BLEND it. Other times, the cashier has never been nice to me. I understand being stressed sometimes from having a bad day, trust me. I work in food. But without fail, the cashier never has anything nice to say and goes below the bare minimum, going as low as to not even make eye contact when I’m placing an order. Most workers have extreme attitude and low work ethic. In fact, I watched a worker blow bubbles from the sink instead of making the drink I just bought. I’m not one to complain about my drink if it is wrong, but if it’s consistently wrong, I’m going to say something. This time, when I spoke up about my order, the manager looks at my drink and says in a snarky voice “whatever, I’ll remake it”. I cannot wait for a better starbucks to open up closer to me.
