Wow, what a discovery! We usually get our takeaway from the Fishponds branch, but our first visit to Gorilla Thai Kitchen on Gloucester Road was absolutely incredible. This place is seriously one of Bristol’s best-kept secrets.
Everything was fantastic, from the super-fast service to the stunning food. They even served our beers in frozen glasses, which was a great touch! I can’t recommend this place enough—you definitely won’t be disappointed.
We’ll be back for sure. Thanks, guys, for an amazing meal from start to finish!

Amazing place, came here with a party of 6. Quality atmosphere really cosy and warm. Service was really good the waitress had amazing customer service skills, explained the specials and what to recommend and helped with how the process of the menu worked.
What can I say about the food? WOW speechless honestly! quality ingredients, hot, tasty, authentic, spicy ( by choice) options to pick from, all round outstanding.
Really recommend this place, by chance we seen their insta and had to try it ourselves. First time and definitely not our last!

Five stars isn’t enough for Gla and the team at Gorilla Thai!
Food was outstanding, so fresh and all cooked from scratch with veg from the market and free range chicken and organic beef from Beast Butchers. We called in to enquire earlier in the week and watched the spring rolls being rolled by hand.
I don’t often bother writing reviews but felt I had to today as Gorilla Thai have been so amazing as a lunchtime venue for a family birthday celebration – so accommodating and helpful with all our requests. We definitely made the right decision choosing Gorilla Thai!
We’ll be back to enjoy the food again, hope you enjoy it as much as we did…

We came here on a week night just on the off chance they had a table free and they did! The food was honestly unreal and we can’t wait to come back! The crispy beef was a bit sickly but the rest of the food was unbelievable! Extremely helpful and lovely staff. The table was a bit small for all the food we ordered!

Have had their take aways before from Fishponds so was really looking forward to eating in on Gloucester Road. It didn’t disappoint. Banging food, fun and friendly service, being able to order lovely wine (we had a nice Portuguese wine) was a bonus too. Nice additions to the menu only available in the restaurant also too.

Excellent food, outstanding service and a brilliant evening.
We tried the short rib massaman curry, king prawn green curry, pad see ew, and crispy chicken stir fry. It’s very obvious that they use good quality ingredients when compared to other places. We’ve already got a date to go back!

Probably the tastiest food I’ve had from any restaurant, ever.
Couldn’t fault anything from the service, to the food, everything exceptional.
We went for the crispy chilli beef, drunken noodles with pork and the spare ribs. My favourite was the crispy chilli beef but everything was so packed full of flavour and cooked to absolute perfection.
Will definitely be recommending and returning to try what else is on offer!

Some of the best/tastiest food in Bristol!! Me and my sister both were blown away with how yummy the food was – we had the crispy chilly beef and the pad see ew with king prawns. Food was super fresh, prepared fast and good portion sizes as well. The service was also fantastic – our waitress was super attentive and lovely. We will definitely be back and recommending to all our friends! Thank you for a lush meal/dining experience.
