Generous portions of tasty food!
We’ve eaten here a few days times over the years when we visit town and always forget how delicious and large the portions are.
We ordered a chicken bowl and it was enough that my wife and I between us could not finish a single bowl.
The chicken is well cooked and seasoned. The black beans savory and delicious. Cilantro rice is a perfect accompaniment. Add in some fried yuca and it’s a feast.

People DO NOT eat here and if you do expect unfresh food and a BAD attitude when confronted. They give piping hot sauce thrown in styrofoam containers (cheap) for it to soak into your food and in my case melt completely through the container, where all the contents were alll over my bag. You have to wait for extended periods … as they claim food is cooked to order but when you receive your order after waiting 25 to 30 min….the order is WRONG… why is it wrong??? … ill tell you why because NO ONE in the restaurant speaks English and half of the time they have no idea what you are saying. So bad that they CHARGED MY CARD TWICE… and then when they realized the mistake GAVE ATTITUDE about that. I had to leave my home to return to the location to get my missing items and try to discuss the refund of the double charge. This is repeated and again when you try to get what you paid and waited for bad attitude. Extremely poor service at this location. No need for the store owner to make some blanket “we will do better comment” under my review … your employees are rude and the food is overpriced and subpar

My wife found a hair in her cilantro rice. The rice was also saturated in oil which you can see on the bottom of the container. Highly disappointed!

the drive-thru is slow motion speed, the customer behind us creeped us out as he approached the window to ask about why is was taking long. the drive-thru lady has a short fuse needs customer service training as well. the price a bit high, but, hope the food takes the bitter experience once I get home.

I ordered rotisserie chicken with rice, but what I received was mostly bone with very little meat. Additionally, I’ve noticed that when ordering certain menu items — for example, steak with shrimp — the kitchen sometimes omits parts of the order unless you specifically check or call them out on it. I’ve been intentionally placing different orders to monitor this pattern and document any inconsistencies in food preparation and portioning.

The food is not that good to say the least. The rice was hard (under cooked). Also, if you’re a “pescatarian” don’t bother getting the “Pescado Criollo” since it’s cooked and contains chicken skins in the criollo sauce. That was an unpleasant surprise, not what my coworker was expecting to see.

I have been here multiple times over the past 6 years. It’s been fine. But today, it was extra good. I ordered skirt steak with salad and plantains. It was so flavorful —even the salad dressing! The chimichurri and salad dressing tasted like they were hand crafted. Best meal I’ve had in a while. It was lunch time and I waited less than 10 minutes.

Today I had the worst experience ever I asked for a whole roasted chicken and unfortunately the chicken was raw my boyfriend went to claim that to one of the ladies and she said it’s not raw that is the color of the chicken but as my boyfriend and I are cooks we work in a restaurant we know perfectly the temperatures of the meat so he went for the second time because the second half they gave us was the same and they cooked for more time but I couldn’t eat no more it was very disgusting I attached the pictures so you can make your own conclusion and you can see what I’m about talking about I just want to warn people because I don’t take this kind of things lightly salmonella is a very dangerous bacteria than cause many illnesses

Went to get a meal, paid $17 for 1 cut up chicken tender and a couple potatoes. Not worth the money… kinda sad to be honest.
*edit: rice is good, beans are dry, more protein would be nice but the chicken is alright*
