Small town, chill atmosphere. A lot of historical buildings in the area which are beautiful to look at. It’s always a small crowd when we go so we like that. Also, they have a pool table.

This is a cool little hole in the wall bar. Its off the beaten path in Old Shawneetown. We came up to while out exploring the Sturgis bike rally. Its sad the the old town is mostly gone but it looks like an old ghost town. Bar had some bands playing and the beer was cold. Priced very good!! I don’t know the food menu except a burger I seen some one order. They have outdoor seating as well. It was good enough for us to stop back by on our way back as well. The staff was very friendly as well.

Atmosphere is always dependent on the person. Cool redneck bar where everyone is welcome. Was there 15 minutes. Asked a guy working there where I could hook up our camper. One phone call…drove me a few blocks down and we had a dump station…fresh water fill and a nice grassy area to camp for the night. Free. Very tight community. Down home people.

Great Bacon Cheeseburger – fantastic taste. The burger tasted great, fries were crispy. Value – wow, yes the prices are very affordable. It is a clean place, exposed brick. Doesn’t look like much from the outside (that is part of this place’s charm). Easy parking, ample right in front of the building. Short walk from the car to the pub’s door. Have a cold drink , have burger, enjoy!

Omg, cannot believe how delicious this steak and cheese sandwich was. The place itself is undergoing remodeling and is real clean from what I could tell too and friendly staff! Thanks for the great experience!

Absolutely great bar. Well worth stopping in when out riding or cruising through Southern IL. Neat views of the river, cold drinks, good food and friendly service. What more do you need? Biker friendly too.

Nicest staff. This is the type of place you can spend a minute and spend a lifetime. My friends and I were outside looking in and it wasn’t long until we were welcomed. Great stories to be heard, cold beer to be had, and memories to be made. Obviously the best place in Shawneetown. No one likes New Shawneetown anyway.
