This is my second time eating at Lobos Mexican restaurant in Alma, Georgia and I have been very pleased on both visits. Tonight I ordered La Gringa which was very good. It is basically a quesadilla with Al Pastor meat inside. Their chips and salsa is also very good. I would rate their salsa better than average but not quite excellent because it needed just a little more heat. Their chips are good. They’re crispy and are not those hard thick yellow kind that some restaurants like to cheap out on. My server tonight was very attentive and very good. I was very pleased with his service overall. Expect to pay roughly $12 to $20 per person if you factor in tip and drink water. They’re decor is different but good. It’s got a day of the dead theme. They were also quite a few Latin families there which lets me know that they cook well and have authentic Mexican food. I recommend this restaurant and will be back.

Absolutely cannot say enough about this place. We have had several different things that we keep going back to the nachos tejanos. The steak chicken and shrimp are cooked to perfection which is the right amount of cheese sauce with the bell peppers and onions I’m bringing it together are the chips. They are light thin and Harry with it just the right amount of crispness. They quite literally fall to pieces like they’re melting in your mouth. The portions are more than adequate with some left over and the price is definitely fair. My boyfriend and I ate there with drinks and dessert for me, which was a flan, for under 50. I am a lover of custardy desserts and I’ve ate flans from many many different places and this one outranks them all. It was set to perfection with the creamiest center. It was heaven on a spoon. Will continue to eat here for a long time to come.

El Lobo was a breath of fresh air for our little town of Alma, Ga! I can honestly say that we’ve had great food, service, and a pleasant time ANY time we have gone, regardless of time, staffing, or any other issues the restaurant has endured.
I own a massage therapy business and when out of town clients ask me where to eat, I always recommend El Lobo for a tasty meal!

My family and I have been here several times and usually it’s good. Today we decided to get the taco Tuesday and it was awful! Our order had to be taken twice, it took 15 minutes to get our food and non were correct. There was a puddle of grease on all of our plates when it was finally brought to us. I don’t know if we will go back.

Well first of all are first visit to El Lobo Resturant in Alma ga very disappointed are server by the name Donny very rude not even had the courage to greet us or nothing acting she wasn’t Mexican and when my husband was asked what to drink she talked Spanish also never came to ask if anything needed or everything ok nothin while she was asking others so sad no more El Lobo for us

I have been going here for a while. Being away at college, I always come back when I’m in town. It’s a great restaurant, I’ve seen people come and go working here and have never had a “terrible experience”. The crew is always on point, especially the younger waiters and waitresses. Food is good quality and what you pay for. I wouldn’t change much except the occasional attitude you receive when you call to place a take out order from one of the staff members up there.
