The food was outstanding across the board. Our group ordered a variety of dishes including steak, lamb, fish, and burgers, and every single plate was prepared beautifully and packed with flavor. You could really tell the ingredients were fresh and that the chefs put care into every dish. For appetizers, the Brussels sprouts stood out as a must-try—crispy, savory, and delicious. Dessert was the perfect ending to our meal, especially the pistachio ice cream and the cannoli, which were rich, fresh, and unforgettable.
What really tied the entire experience together was the hospitality. The staff went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful evening, and that personal touch made the experience even more special. Overall, a hidden gem with incredible food, welcoming service, and a great atmosphere. Definitely a place I’ll be returning to!
Were seated quickly in a booth by the bar area. The quieter dining room had a single table occupied. The menu was interesting – small plates (octopus and hummus) and larger offerings like paella and lamb shank.
At 7, a lone guitarist appeared and played pop songs at a gentle volume.. so gentle we had to strain to hear him.
Service was over attentive – maybe because so few people were there. I think 4 other folks checked on us above and beyond our main server. And our plates kept getting cleared 2 nano seconds after we were done.
One final quirk. Your plate wear is incredible. Beautiful, artsy, unique. They are just very difficult to slice the food and the utensils drop into the bowls in an awkwardly regular cadence. The form is out of this world- the function not so much.
Had a decent time. I think they need to grow into themselves and get their groove on. Happy to give them a return engagement.
The food was simply outstanding. Every dish showcased thoughtful presentation and bold Mediterranean flavors. Whether it was the scallops, seabass, or a creative cocktail, each bite felt like a celebration of culinary craftsmanship.
The staff were attentive without being intrusive
Highly recommend for date nights
Also, the piano player was outstanding!
We started with the scallop appetizer, which was nicely presented and flavorful. For the main course, we had the foreshank — hearty and satisfying, though it didn’t quite wow us. We also tried a couple of cocktails, one of which came flaming to the table, which was definitely a fun touch and added some flair to the evening.
All in all, Floga wasn’t bad, just not quite at the “special occasion” level for us as there’s much better options in the area!
Loved the free little cheese and vegi plate along with the olive oil for dipping in.
The Sardines app was delicious. You don’t see this a lot in the states because Americans don’t really understand, they think sardines are gross, they’re used to getting them from a can in the grocery store. But real, Mediterranean, sardines, made the right way are absolutely delicious. If you’ve never tried them made like this, give it a try, see what you think.
I had the prawns for dinner, but they turned out they’re actually shrimp. I corrected them, and they said, yeah, they need to change the description. So just know it’s not a prawn, it’s a shrimp.
The whole fish was delicious, cooked, perfect. Tender with lots of flavor. And you kept ahead and tail on, thank you so much. Just like you would expect from a good Mediterranean type chef. Loved it.
My partner had the pork belly, delicious and all the sides that went with it were perfect. The rice was good and flaky, the broccolini, everything had the flavors you’d expect.
The service was impeccable. They were all over us. They had the waters constantly full. We ordered a bottle of champagne set up nicely. They’re learning, they’re new, so they’re a little Uber on the service, but I’ll take it. Good luck guys.
I will definitely come back.
The food was absolutely divine, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere was cozy and inviting. The live piano artist added a wonderful touch. From the moment we walked in, we felt like family. The attention to detail and passion for food is evident in every bite. If you’re looking for an exceptional dining experience, don’t miss out on Flóga – it’s a game-changer!
