Thank you to my waitress (Monica) for suggesting the menu item AND deink choice!
I was super indecisive and leaned on her for the choice experience today. She did great! It’s like she knew just what my tummy was needing on this cold winter Saturday!
The atmosphere was unmatched with the 70s love soul music selection, and the vibe was friendly but fast.

We went for the Christmas pop-up. It was amazing. Crowded, for sure, but not uncomfortable. The food was great and fast. The buffalo macaroni and cheese is a bit spicy, but I like it. The decor can’t be beat.

I like Martin city but not love it. The food is okay but not good enough for the service. I had to raise my hand and ask other servers to find my server, no one was responsive. People next to us were yelling and obnoxious and needed to get cut off but they were still being served. Also, don’t go on Sunday night. I asked the live musician to play a song with a $20 Tip and he never sang it. Like yeah it’s cute but I won’t go there for the prices they ask. Abysmal.

I have a love/hate type of relationship with this place. The food is good. Today I had the meatball sandwich and it was excellent. Others enjoy their pizza. We were there for a birthday, for which they don’t do anything special. We had multiple appetizers that were really good. My issue is the noise! I couldn’t hear the person two chairs down from me. My throat was sore from talking so loud. We go there with friends that like their pizza so I’m sure we will return.

I like the vibe and the selection of alcohol. Food is a bit of a miss. First visit I got the Cuban: it was served on the wrong bread vs what was on the menu and was a little light on the meat – multiple bites with little to no meat. Came back to try the pizza and it also was not for me.

I so wanted to love this restaurant… My daughter eats here all the time. The food was a little overpriced. There was some kind of Valentine’s Day. Cupid out or something?!? It was not clear. It was loud. It was hard to find a dairy free option and my dad ordered macaroni and cheese, which is a quarter of their menu and they were all out. They do have dairy-free cheese. As an option for their pizzas. I did not try that. I had a sandwich. It was ok, it was a sandwich. They were slammed on a Tuesday night and it was extremely loud. Not kid, friendly and hard to get in. I would have needed reservations, but just managed to get a table after waiting twenty five minutes. I probably won’t go back.

Happy to find a place near our home to enjoy a good pizza. It was our first time just me and my wife. Will bring the kids on another occasion.
We had the tuna tartar as appetizer. It was good.
The pizzas were awesome. I would just order a side of oregano next time. And more arugula please!!
The best thing is the gluten free option which had a great taste and nothing to envy a normal wheat based crust.
We had the Supremo Pizza and the Fig & Prosciutto. Totally recommended.
See you again!

The staff was super helpful and friendly. The place was super busy but the waitress was able to get to us in a pretty timely manner. All the food was excellent. Will definitely be returning.

Food – was mid. Nothing special. Basically just noodles and co with pizza.

Service – atrocious. The blonde waitress was non existent. She also almost missed part of the table’s order somehow; she didn’t even ask them. They had to stop her. She visited maybe 3 times in the 2 hours we were there. It took over 45 minutes to come back with the check. Horrendous. It’s for that reason I’m out. This place goes in the big red X category.

Atmosphere – this is about the only this place has going for it. Aside from having every woke channel on across the TVs, they had a really cool christmas display pop up which really created a whole vibe. I only wish the rest of the experience was as joyous and festive. The staff was very friendly and had a baby seat cradle and a high chair, so that’s a plus.

Love the Valentine Atmosphere! The Martin City Lenexa is so loud because of the high ceilings and the decorations help dampen the noise. We sometimes go to Martin City in Martin City Missouri because we like the atmosphere better even though we live in DeSoto. I hope you will decorate for St. Pat’s Day. A setting for pictures with a leprechaun would be fun! I’m expecting Irish red beer and green beer.

Martin City has one of the best Happy Hours. I LOVE the pizza and of course the craft beer and the price.
