Not only was my margherita pizza delicious, the staff were super friendly and quick with their service. I had a moment where I couldn’t retrieve my receipt for work expenses, and the lovely employee went above and beyond to ensure I received it. The cannoli was so, so good. Passing through town. Found Michael’s Pizzeria had good reviews. When our pizza (Hawaiian, Justin)and *bread knots arrived at our table we were thrilled. The pizza was fantastic. The crust was soft and crisp. The sauce, cheese and toppings were perfect. What an amazing find on a long road in a small town. Highly recommend.

I LOVED this place! Family owned and they couldn’t be nicer people. I am convinced they would give me a ride home if my car broke out front. I highly highly recommend coming here. Crust is perfect and their sauce is just as good. 10/10. If you weren’t planning on eating pizza tonight, change that plan and come here.

Let me preface this by saying every time I see garlic knots on a menu, I order them expecting greatness. Every time I’m let down (even by the restaurant named after them). But not Michael’s Pizzeria’s garlic knots. They are HANDS DOWN the BEST garlic knots I’ve ever had. Exactly that you want…buttery, salty, garlicky DELICIOUSNESS. And we didn’t even have to wait 5 minutes to get them. Haven’t had their pizza, but honestly, go for the garlic knots because you can’t go wrong.

Been wanting to try this place, and was so excited tonight when I won a free pizza! Pizza was hot with fresh ingredients, and a perfectly cooked crust. Everyone was friendly and it seemed like the orders kept rolling in, even so close to closing time, nobody was turned away. Will be back again! Thank you Michael’s Pizzeria! My kid stole a slice before I could get a pic of the whole pie.

What a gem of a place! I’m in town for work and I am desperately looking for vegetarian dinner options. I found this place on Google last night but they were closed so I decided to try again tonight and it was absolutely worth the wait! I look the first bite of my pizza and did a happy dance in the hotel room. The crust… omg the crust! Crust can make or break a pizza and theirs is perfection Adorable shop, lovely people & impeccable pizza. Go get you some!

This place is an utter gem. Having moved to Colorado ~5 years ago from the northeast, one of the things we’ve missed most is good pizza. We’ve tried so many places in Colorado (and in the West more broadly) and nothing has come close to a good New Haven or New York pie.
Michael’s, however, is an exception. This place is a serious sleeper in terms of pizza quality. It is completely unassuming and has no frills, yet has some of the best pizza we’ve eaten, just like the best places back home.
We like to head to this area from time to time for the interesting history and nature and didn’t think much of randomly choosing Michael’s for dinner on our way to Comanche National Grassland. Michael’s turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip. This pizza is seriously good! It’s the best we’ve found in this part of the country and was a complete shock to us.
Michael’s, whatever you are doing, please keep doing it! You’re now our mandatory pit stop for this part of Colorado and we sincerely hope you are getting the local support that you absolutely deserve.

Pizza was great. We got half and half nichole and bbq pizza. Both fantastic. Also got garlic knots which were great. Staff was very nice and accommodating as well.
If I ever come back through La Junta, I’ll definitely come back!
