We absolutely LOVE Snelgrove ice cream. We are night owls and constantly disappointed trying to go to places that close at 7 or 8. The ice cream is great and comes in good sized portions. There is also a wide variety of tasty flavors, and the employees are always happy to give a good sized sample of any flavors. It is a great gathering place- brightly lit, plenty of tables and chairs to visit, and good tunes.

Very yummy ice cream, I was please to see a couple dairy free options when brining my child for a treat.
They were very friendly staff.
I got a split of the coconut chocolate and piña colada dairy free and my child got their milk chocolate with sprinkles.

A super bonus is their sprinkles are natural dye and not artificial colored!!

Very nice service! Pretty good price for the amount of ice cream you get! Fun environment and great flavors to choose from! They even have soda and some treats like cookies you can buy. Overall a great place for a treat!

Flavors we tried that we enjoyed: cotton candy, birthday cake, strawberry, cookies and cream!

such a cute little spot !
My favorite is their homemade rice crispy treats ! but $4.80 for a small smashed rice crispy is a little off putting ! i wish i had asked for a different one.

the rice crispy treat i got previously was large and fluffy ! i expected that:(

It was like reliving a dream! My husband and I went to Snelgroves over 43 years ago for our first date! We were sad when the store closed on 2100 South in Salt Lake.

When I saw a recent Facebook post by Duane Cardal, I knew we needed to try it.
They have a drive-thru! They have drinks, cookies and other treat. The ice cream is Snelgroves original recipes.

The cookies are Dutchman Cookies out of St. George. It was a pleasant blast from the past! Very yummy!

I have celiac disease. Snelgrove has great practices for scooping ice cream in the back, so that the scoops they use are clean and not cross contaminating. Most ice cream shops aren’t very good about this, so this was a pleasant surprise! We will be back!

Our friend Gregorio, who usually works on our car, told us about this place and highly recommended it. We decided to come with our family, and we enjoyed it so much. My kids were thrilled with this type of ice cream — they absolutely loved it.
We’re really happy Gregorio recommended it to us. We’ll definitely be coming back!

The staff here were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and they even let me taste test a few flavors. The Bear Lake raspberry ice cream is absolutely amazing.

The ice cream is fine. I really like a rich, creamy ice cream! This is not that. Also, the scoops are the size of a golf ball. Really, really small! I’ve never seen scoops so small. Prices wouldn’t be bad if the serving weren’t so small.
