Muks is in honor of Carol Reed and her long time success right here in the historical Swiss Village, Carol has passed down her legacy to her granddaughter Cierra who has put a twist on all things candles and cocktails. Where do I begin! I can’t say enough about this place. I’ve been in F&B for 20 years and this is by far the best when it comes to cocktails. I’ve had the best cocktails in London as the best bar in the world and this by far exceeds that. We couldn’t stop ordering the cocktails. They deserve recognition. The staff was super friendly and the ambiance was so cozy and welcoming. PLEASE come do yourself a favor and make this part of your trip! Amazing!!!!!

Our hometown is seriously lacking in lounges or speakeasy’s, so we are always on the lookout for something great when we travel. Muk’s nailed it. The ambiance is incredible, exactly the moody place we were looking for. The cocktails were fantastic and the charcuterie board was an incredible value. Chelsea was a rock star and nailed our drinks all night. We would take this place with us if we could.

Oh my gosh!!! First, the place and choice of seating was fun, SECOND, the atmosphere was charming. I almost felt like I already knew them they were so personable. Third, the menu gave me the confidence to allow them to “do what you do” to a bloody Mary request. WOW! Then, to stroll through the adjacent candle shoppe was better than a dessert. ONE GREAT PLACE. As a former Martini & Wine lounge owner in Chicago, this lounge has all the class of a downtown lounge, and all of the charm you would expect from a small town location. The owner, Jonathan, was an exceptional host and superior mixologist. We WILL be back!!

If you want to be ignored and receive absolutely no service this is the place for you. After waiting about 10 minutes and watching the waitress take orders from patrons that entered after us, we watched patiently for another 5 or so minutes to see if she ever noticed the table with no drinks. The silver lining is we saved about $70 by being ignored. Happy Holidays!
