This is one of the few times I have not let the food quality be the limiting factor in a restaurant review. The Hibachi was at best average and all the food we had was decidedly bland and lacked seasoning. It was OK, but at a place specializing in Hibachi and Sushi I expect better. One of the things that took me by surprise was how bland and mushy their fried rice was, again decent but not what I expect.
All that said the service was amazing, with our waitress going above and beyond to make the meal experience awesome. She even offered some of her own hot sauce when all they had in the kitchen was sriracha (which is fine, but brings additional flavors beyond the heat to a dish). Finally the atmosphere was a wonderful surprise. This building has been through numerous versions since the 60s and I was shocked and amazed at how much the renovations made this place feel new and sleek. That being said I still wanted to order a foot long with sauce and slaw and a large order of Tojoes but was afraid no one would get the joke.

I love the little banners they have inside, especially the little cat banners.
Our waitress was prompt and knowledgeable.
This was the first time in a Japanese style restaurant for my wife and I.
The everything looked clean and tidy as well.
We shared a spring and egg roll appetizer.
I got the hibachi chicken with noodles, miso soup and a salad, my wife had the shrimp and chicken hibachi with onion soup and salad we both had fried rice.
I had never had miso soup before, it was different, the onion soup was excellent.
The noodles were good, not amazing, the chicken was good and we both loved the salad.
I don’t eat shrimp so I’ll had to take my wife’s word that it was good.
We had more than we could eat and the total was 48. We likely should have shared a single hibachi dish instead of getting a box.
Over all, my wife and I enjoyed the meal.

We were here within two weeks of them opening. There was a young gentleman who went above and beyond waiting our table. He made sure we had refills and he was super nice! The food was delicious. My husband and I think it’s the best place to eat in town.

They automatically took a tip out of 18 percent without letting you know! I usually tip pretty good, but when they brought out the bill it said tip and it was already took out. then at the bottom after I paid it said additional tip. Tips should be optional not forced. It’s wrong, I had cash I was going to tip with because I don’t like tipping on card because they tax credit card tips. The amount of food you get is not worth the price. Also I ordered steak and shrimp and they charged me for filet and shrimp. Won’t be back due to this. Server was great though.

When my wife and I first walked in, we were immediately welcomed and seated.
Within 5 minutes we had our appetizers and were ready to order the main course.
My wife ordered shrimp, steak, and chicken.
The steak arrived medium well and when she let the staff know, they swiftly rushed it to the kitchen and replaced her entire plate!
Everything we ate was delicious, the staff were absolutely fantastic, the restaurant is beautiful, and I cannot wait to go back very soon!

Our favorite restaurant. My daughter loves everything from the gyoza, sushi, soup, salad, and hibachi. They also have trainer chop sticks for kids. We try to eat there once a week lol. The staff is always the sweetest too. We came during a rain storm once, and the gentleman working carried an umbrella over me while I put my girl in her car seat. 10/10 food and service
