We took Lamb Grill feast with Mediterranean Salad and Rice- $17.5+-(with tax) . Food was tasty enough. But for me quantity was not that enough. It was kind of fancy dish rather than regular one. If u too much hungry then it will not fill ur tummy. But overall ok.

Staffs are good.
ambient is good.

Taziki’s in San Marcos is a great spot for fresh Mediterranean food. The grilled chicken was tender, the hummus was smooth and flavorful, and the Taziki sauce was addictive. Quick service, friendly staff, and a clean, relaxing atmosphere. Definitely worth a visit!

I recently visited Taziki’s Mediterranean Café, and I must say, the experience was truly impressive from start to finish.

The restaurant itself is very clean, spacious, and beautifully maintained — perfect for gatherings, group meals, or even a casual lunch with friends. The Mediterranean aesthetic is clearly visible in the décor, with a soothing blue-and-white theme that creates a refreshing and relaxing ambiance. Whether this place draws more from Greek or Turkish influences, it certainly captures the authentic Mediterranean spirit in both design and food.

Their menu is well-organized and easy to follow, offering a wide range of Mediterranean dishes — from shawarmas, gyros, and falafel wraps to baklava, hummus, pitas, and rice platters. I really appreciated the variety, including their sides, dips, and drinks.

We ordered a Char-Grilled Lamb Rice Platter, which came with perfectly cooked basmati rice, a fresh Mediterranean salad, and two flavorful dipping sauces — one light and refreshing, the other slightly tangy. The lamb itself was tender and well-seasoned. My only minor observation is that the portion of lamb could be slightly more generous for the price (around $16–$18), but the overall quality and freshness more than made up for it.

We also tried the Chicken Gyro, which came with a delightful sweet potato salad and crispy pita chips — both of which complemented the main dish perfectly. Every item on the plate looked and tasted fresh, and the presentation was clean and vibrant.

The service was equally wonderful. The staff were polite, cheerful, and conversational, adding to the overall welcoming atmosphere. Even the bathrooms were spotless, which reflects their attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

We chose to sit outdoors, and it made the experience even better — the weather was pleasant, and the surroundings felt calm and refreshing. It truly felt like enjoying a Mediterranean meal somewhere along the coast on a perfect summer afternoon.

Overall, Taziki’s Mediterranean Café offers a wonderful combination of great food, clean aesthetics, friendly service, and an inviting ambiance. It’s definitely a place I’d recommend to anyone looking for light, fresh, and flavorful Mediterranean cuisine.

Thank you, Taziki’s, for a lovely dining experience. I’ll certainly be returning soon — solid 5 stars from me!

Ate lunch there today (11/1/25) and got the beef gyro feast. I chose asparagus as a side but I wish I had ordered something else because the ends were burnt and the rest of it was chewy. The beef gyro itself was delicious. My brother got the falafel and he said it tasted great.
The person at the counter was extremely friendly and helpful.
I would eat at Tazikis again. ✅

This Greek restaurant is an absolute gem in San Marcos! The food is fresh, flavorful, and delicious, with plenty of options that make you feel good about what you’re eating. The dining area is clean and welcoming, with an updated and modern atmosphere that makes the whole experience enjoyable. The employees are friendly, attentive, and clearly care about making sure every guest is taken care of. I specifically ordered the Spicy Chicken feast and finished up with the baklava cheesecake, both incredible.

San Marcos has long needed a dining option like this, and this Greek restaurant fills that gap perfectly. It brings something fresh and exciting to the local food scene, offering a mix of authentic flavors and a modern, inviting environment. With its high-quality food, warm service, and clean, stylish setting, this restaurant isn’t just another place to eat—it’s a much-needed addition that truly elevates the food atmosphere in San Marcos.

Had a to go order for a chicken bowl. I was very disappointed in the portion I received. Seemed like 1/2 cup of rice and as much sauce as rice. The chicken was thankfully flavorful but to be paying almost $15 for this is ridiculous! Not sure if eating in the restaurant would be better for portion size, but I won’t be back if this is the regular portion size. I was not a happy customer!

A very clean restaurant with hospitable employees. The menu is large enough to find something you’d enjoy. Personally, I’d try a lamb gyro with the sauce on the side. I wouldn’t consider this fast food. It’s a step above that. However the food was delivered quickly. The pita bread was not as “heavy” as others I’ve had which is a good thing.

Note to owers: be sure to send your info to all City Departments. Especially the PD as they are always on the lookout for new tastes. Congratulations and good luck.

A very nice place, the tomato soup a little spicy and the roasted potatoes very salty. The Giro and the very tasty Greek salad, reasonable prices. Good luck!

This was very disappointing. I ordered the quinoa bowl with grilled chicken. The food was cold, my chicken tasted like a Tyson frozen product and was not cooked to order. So I don’t understand shy my food took so long. The vegetables were sour and salty. This was not great and I am from Houston. I visit family here and I’ve waited for this place to open. The pita chips were stale and the tatziki sauce was room temperature. I ate in my car.
