We love Dugey’s!! The staff is very friendly and know us when we walk in the door. The food is great too! We have tried so much of their menu and have never been disappointed. Absolutely love their boiled seafood too!! Must tries: cheese bites, chicken cracklin, and chicken wings!

Went today (Sunday 10/5/2025) and all they were serving was fried chicken to make the menu easier to deal with on Sunday. The chicken was absolutely fantastic and we got the white meat and it was fresh juicy and tender and didn’t choke yourself going down at all. The red beans and rice side item was definitely on point although I could have used a little less rice and more beans. The mashed potatoes and gravy were freshly made homemade and absolutely delicious! If I lived here I would go here too often and probably spend too much money there because it’s so good and I haven’t even had anything on the rest of the menu. The absolute icing on the cake was the PEANUT BUTTER MILKSHAKE AT THE END!!! OMG IT WAS THE PERFECT BLEND OF CREAMY PEANUT BUTTER AND MILKSHAKE CONSISTENCY! JUST TOO DELICIOUS!
Last thing I’d say about their fry on the chicken was that it was cooked to perfection and the seasoning on it was out of sight!
To Pokemon Go players, this spot is a pokestop!
Service was great. Atmosphere was great and we got to see the Saints win their first game of the season while there too.. Lol.
They have a drive up window too for phone or maybe online orders.
I would drive an hour to eat there again.

Dugey’s is a great place to grab a bite to eat.
Their menu has all the flair of an indie chain restaraunt, and the sweet hospitality of a southern hole in the wall eatery.
It is my personal favorite restaraunt down the bayou.
Where many restaraunts go down in quality over time, this place consistantly delivers great food.
I personally recommend the cheese bites and the blackened shrimp quesadilla.

We ordered 2 shrimp poboys, and 1 cajun blackened shrimp wrap sides were french fries, onion rings, and corn nuggets. Drinks sold separately It was overpriced for the quality of the food. It tasted as if they used old oil to fry in. It all went to 79.00. Never again.
