Great lunch spot! The lunch special at Sora Sushi is a really good deal. I ordered the ankimo and the rainbow roll—both were absolutely delicious and super fresh. The staff were very nice and friendly, which made the experience even better. Free parking is a big plus too. I’ll definitely be coming back! ✨

This was a neighborhood favorite sushi spot for many years and it is great so see another excellent sushi spot Sora Sushi back in the same location. The fish was very fresh and tasty in very dish. Presentation is off the charts with wooden towers and and steaming dry ice boats making this a really fun experience. Be sure to check out the specials boards as they have tons of specials at any given time. Our server was a pleasure and gave some great recommendations. The ice green matcha tea is one of the best ever.. very refreshing and delicious. Anything you order you is going to be good simply because they fish is amazing. Sora Sushi is a great welcome addition on the east side of Hermosa.. located in the old Big Lots center at Aviation and Prospect Ave there is tons of free parking and some outdoor tables if you don’t mind some sun! This is really high quality sushi and the prices are super reasonable.. most rolls running 13 to 15 rather than the more typical 17 to 23 action we see in the beach cities.. so you get a really good value at Sora. Overall solid 5 star sushi experience!

Sora Sushi very good quality sushi in a Hermosa Beach strip mall. They have a wide variety of rolls, excellent; nigiri & sashimi. Sit at the sushi bar or private table. Friendy servers Worth the drive. Plenty of free parking. Check them out.

The overpowering smell of cheap cleaning products is the first thing I noticed when I walked in. None of the sushi tasted very good or fresh. The real crab hand roll was so disgusting that my friend and I both spit it out. The crab was grey color and tasted off. Not fresh. Old. I do not know where these good reviews come from. We both left after paying $100 with bad tastes in our mouths. Don’t come here.

What a fantastic experience we had at Sora Sushi! We saw the positive buzz around this new spot and had to check things out, and we are sure glad we did. Christina was more helpful and charming than we could have asked, and really helped elevate our outing. The truffle hamachi was delectable and cut immaculately, but the presentation really took it to another level. We were on the fence for the Sushi Tacos, but thankfully Christina talked us into it because it was tremendous. Everything was so fresh, delicious, and prompt, I couldn’t have asked for a better first impression. Can’t wait to come back!

Greer our server was simply lovely! The restaurant was clean and had a great upbeat vibe. We ordered the Dragon Roll and the Baked Scallop Roll and both were excellent!

We went to Sora this weekend and were attracted to the vegan rolls. The service, food quality and vegan rolls were amazing. We even ordered the special vegan roll which my wife loved. We hope to go back in a few weeks.

Had dinner here tonight with my sister and everything was phenomenal. We have been missing inventive, unique sushi rolls at a fair price in the South Bay for a while now … I am so happy this opened locally ! We ordered the large mix sashimi, double toro roll, and spicy sexy girl roll. Everything was fantastic and I would order it all again. The sashimi was delectable and had fresh wasabi garnished too. I like the no frills ambiance, it is casual and authentic. We sat at the sushi bar and will be back in the future. Highly recommend.
