Tried the sesame balls and spicy popcorn chicken at SupTea Lab and they did not disappoint. The sesame balls were warm, lightly crispy, and perfectly chewy with just the right amount of sweetness. The spicy popcorn chicken was juicy, crunchy, and well-seasoned with a kick that wasn’t overpowering.
SupTea Lab really shows the same care in their food as they do in their teas—fresh, high-quality, and thoughtfully done. Definitely worth grabbing a snack along with your boba.

10/10 highly recommend this spot! Their tea is freshly brewed and not premade which makes the flavors of the drinks so much better. We’ve been to bbt spots that taste powdery but this place uses real tea leaves blends and fresh fruits! The food is well made and seasoned really well. All the food items are deliciously made and so well priced. We found ourselves a new go-to spot in Oakland!

Tried the new Kiwi Elixir and got the Lychee shake both with 0% sugar and they were the perfect sweetness! Also got the Salt and pepper tofu! It was by far the best milk tea shop fried tofu we tried! It was smooth and even had a nice crunch to it! Will come back for sure!

A hidden gem in Oakland. Suptea isn’t just another boba shop, it’s got good food too! Their snacks are next level, arriving piping hot and tasting like they’ve been crafted by a professional chef. The quality is unmatched, and every bite feels like a treat. The ones I have tried so far all HIT. Hand grabbed chicken pancake with fried chicken steak, salt and pepper tofu, popcorn chicken, and fried calamari. I will make my way through the entire menu soon enough
If you’re around the Lake Merritt neighborhood, this spot is absolutely worth a visit. Grab a drink, pair it with their incredible food, and enjoy a stroll through the area with your goodies. Highly recommend stopping by, you won’t regret it

I loved their suptea fruit tea! It was delicious and so refreshing, partner tried their mango sticky rice type of drink and it was tasty and not too sweet either. Service was quick and the spot had some seating area if you wanted to hang out. Will come back next time I want another refreshing drink after the vet or on another warm day 🙂

Came in the other day, have to say they’re pretty good! You get exactly what you order; tastes great! Their drinks were stellar too, and the food is pretty affordable for what it brings! Great place and will probably come back for sure.

Edit: Came back and saw they actually charge us a fee for the maintenance of their Revi machine (self checkout kiosk). Dropping this to a 3 star review.
Wish I’ve known about this boba shop earlier. Seems like they opened this year. Their bathroom is definitely one of the nicer ones I’ve seen lol. Anyway, their drinks are good! The strawberry potion was refreshing. I can taste the tea with their house blend milk tea (no sugar). Noticed they use crushed ice instead of ice cubes. More chance of it melting and diluting your drink faster, but wasn’t an issue for us.
Would’ve given this place 5 stars if not for two glaring issues.
1) Not all customers clean up after themselves. The tables could be cleaned once in a while by the staff.
2. Annoying fruit flies
