A MUST GO-TO!
When I say you can’t give this place enough stars, I just can’t. What I can do is describe my experience with my own words and pictures.
1. The owner and his son personalize the experience as soon as you wal through the door. Everyone is created with a “Hello” and a “What can we do for you?”.
2. The atmosphere is something this girl from the eastern part of NC has never experienced. Its spacious with multiple spaces on the lot to experience a true trip to Linville Falls. Inside, you have a lot of unique gifts you can buy, even pictures that the owner has taken and framed himself-all from the surrounding areas! Cowboy/girl hats, clothing, and handmade jewlery!!
3. I have never experienced a ‘Tap Room’ so welcoming and accommodating to you children. These accommodations range from hand made swing sets and playhouses, t-ps, hammocks, kid friendly hiking trails, outdoor games, indoor games, and fishing! Let’s not forget the FAMOUS Linville Mudslide Ice-cream cup!!!
4. The food is amazing! Especially when you catch your own trout. Kid friendly? Absolutely! What kid doesn’t like Mac and cheese, chicken tenders, or French fries?!
5. Alcohol? Why yes. Taps are cold. The wine slushies are phenomenal and garnished with fruit. Slushies- ice cold!
Again. This is a must go to when hanging out in Linville Falls!

Happily stumbled on this off the beaten path gem. The small creek and decorative landscaping accents make gorgeous scenic photo opps endless. We decided not to dine due to the astronomically high food prices mainly if your not a fish fan. It was nice to have the option to catch and cook your fish, but that’s not my vibe. The artwork and photography displayed in the interior was stunning to say the least. Only negative I can mention is lack of customer service we were never greeted or spoken to for that matter. Despite that little thing I would HIGHLY and I mean HIGHLY recommend especially if your looking for true mountainous creek scenic views for beautiful family photos.

Whats not to like about this backwoods establishment. The food on the truck was great. The best thing was the orange dreamsicle tea. There’s lots of beer and games to play just hanging out. Trout fishing and areas for kids to play. I wish my whole family would have been here to enjoy.

We had such a fun day here! The games are a nice touch. Our daughter fished, she caught 3 trout. They cleaned and fried them. It was my first time eating trout and I have to say it was pretty good. Next time I’ll get pulled pork, it smelled so good! We spoke to the owner a few times who was working the register and he is so funny and friendly! Great personality. The only thing I would change is the way the fish is served. I’d do the bed of lettuce with the fish on one side of the plate and then the fries and hush puppies on the other side so the fish grease doesn’t drip on it. That’s not such a pleasant taste. Lol
We loved it though, had a great time and we will be back!

This place is unbelievably gorgeous and peaceful. Hammocks, swings, the sound of a creek.. I could spend all day here. I ordered the fish plate and the chef literally walked to the creek to catch it fresh for me. I can’t wait to come back again!

After a LONG day of hiking and exploring this place is great to have a cold drink and rest your feet. My husband and I stumbled across this place and we’re happy we did. The people there are hilarious, even though I got made fun of for wearing a jacket, I dished it right back to them LOL. Good vibes and drinks… can’t go wrong! Can’t wait to go back.

This place is off the beaten path and very much worth the drive! If you’re a meat lover this is the place for you (the bbq sandwich was my favorite). But, they have more than just food: fishing, games for the kids, a store and live music. Plan your trip ahead of time because they’re only open on the weekends.

Absolutely beautiful grounds. I talked with Parker, one of the owners, great conversation. The trout in the pond were cool to see. The games were everywhere, golf and cards and chess and bean bags. The trails led to kids rock climbing and had little hand rails for the kids and so many areas for kids to play with swings and toys. Very family friendly. There was a wood fire burning inside with a fire going outdoors, such a welcoming and peaceful environment. A gift shop. I would recommend the blackberry sangria, best one I’ve ever had. I will be back and recommend anyone and everyone to check it out.
