Had lunch at Boardwalk Fries in Owings Mills. They claim to have the best fries in Maryland. They don’t.
That honor belongs to Thrasher’s. But they have locations in Ocean City and Rehoboth.
I will admit that Boardwalk Fries has the best fries I’ve had other than at Thrasher’s. And like Thrasher’s, Boardwalk Fries provides vinegar, in this case, malt vinegar, to season the fries.
The Boardwalk Fries bacon cheeseburger with BBQ sauce was only fair.
You order at the cash register and pay. They bring you the order.

DO NOT GO HERE !!! I came to this location with my 2 year old. Once I enteres the restaurant I was being WEIRDLY stared down by 2 Hispanic men working in the back of the kitchen which made me feel very eerie, uncomfortable and unsafe. Even after I gave a mean mug they continued to stare. My cheesesteak was sooo soggy and the bread was not even toasted. I asked for garlic parm fries but actually received some other kind of fries. I will definitely not be returning. I called and asked about the refund policy and was told to call the manager named John and of course he didn’t answer.

Was craving a burger and remembered they have turkey patties. Grabbed me a classic with the turkey patty and the garlic Parmesan fries. I wish they came in a smaller size because I can never eat them all in one sitting and garlic aioli does not heat well so I end up having to disappointingly trash the rest. BUT THEM GARLIC PARMESAN FRIES are soooo good, especially when they are straight out of the grease hot. Needless to say my burger was good too, it was a Monday so my burger was half off. So glad they came to my neighborhood, good food, decent prices, and BTW their playlist was jamming.

The dinning room was very clean and the staff was friendly. Food prepared to order. Hot and fresh. Cheese fries were great. Pollock Johnny with the works done right. Highly recommend for classic American fare.

I was in the mood for a hot dog and didn’t want to drive far to get one, so I tried Boardwalk. The hot dog was a 1/4 lb all beef dog. The bun was soo soft. The chili was okay. I would order again just not with chili. The fries were classic Boardwalk fries. I also had a classic hamburger, which was good as well. I will frequent this restaurant.

The burger and fries were great. The cashier who took our order charged us for an extra burger and I didn’t realize it at the time of paying because we had multiple people on one check. I would think that if she didnt have her ear buds in while working then she likely would have heard our order accurately. She didn’t offer to refund it but continued to tell us we ordered 2 of them instead of one.

A true Ocean City favorite. I remember countless times visiting Ocean City and getting fries from Boardwalk. This location just recently had a grand opening and I decided to try them for lunch.
My Order: Everything is Al-A-Carte I ordered the Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Small Fry, and Strawberry & Cookies Milkshake (Total $23.00). On a weekday it was pretty quiet and not crowded, with plenty of indoor seating available. Ordering was pretty fast and the employees were friendly and helpful. If you opt to dine in, you receive a number and the food is brought to your table. Within 10 minutes I received my order, hot which was a huge deal for me. My sandwich was delicious, the fries tasted just like how I remember, that Strawberries and Cream milkshake I will take over a regular cookies and cream shake any day. I’m a Strawberry connoisseur and having this mixed with cookies takes this shake to another level. I will be back!!!

Plenty of lighting, and plenty of tables to dine in. It was clean which I can appreciate. I didn’t need to use the restroom and can’t speak on that however, the dine-in area was clean. The ketchup dispenser was low and needed to be changed.

Stop by tonight for a quick snack. Boardwalk fries as I always remember them on the boardwalk fresh, hot and delicious. Unfortunately for some reason they were chewy refried stale old fries from all day. Last time I’m coming here. If you can’t cook fries right? You can’t do anything right.. it’s a simple potato.

Ordered delivery. They get the job done. Decent double cheeseburger w bacon. Hot dog was very good & great roll too! Pleasantly surprised. Can’t go wrong with the Boardwalk fries. Crispy like I remember them. Reasonably priced too. Enjoy.

They have a great burger selection and are pretty quick to fill orders. The condiments for the fries are above par, everything from malted vinegar to Old Bay so you may season to your heart’s content.
My only issue on my last visit was the employee behind the counter. She was not busy and it seemed she had no personality. None of the tables were cleaned. The towels were out In the bathroom. Seems is she is getting paid by the hour, perhaps she could do at least 40 minutes of work. But I see this same issue everywhere these days.
Summary, the food was great, the service below par, the overall experience still gets a 4/5 for their great selection and speedy cooking.
