Elegant venue with caviar, smoked salmon & other Russian delicacies, plus martinis & vodka flights.

This place was absolutely amazing. It was so worth the price! The caviar was so tasty and the nice owner showed us how to properly eat it. The borsch was so homey and warm tasting. The duck satsivi was to die for and we didn’t leave a single bit of food on our plates for anything we had. The atmosphere was intimate and very homey and everyone was so nice. If you can, please make a reservation and dine here, you won’t be disappointed

My Russian born wife and I love Russian food. We visited a couple weeks ago, however we will not be returning. I have a lot to say about our experience but I will keep it short and to the point.
Two entrees, one martini, tip, $160. The place is astronomically overpriced for the quality of food and drinks we received. Like… completely divorced from reality overpriced. The food would have been fine at $25/plate, but for $55/plate I expect better than tough, overcooked chicken and duck. It also took more than 40 minutes for our dishes to arrive.
The owner is passionate but she needs to be careful what she says; she is condescending and insulting without even realizing it. I felt like I was in a car dealership being pressure sold on $25 drinks and $200 caviar. She also claimed the vodka they use will not give you a hangover, I can confidently confirm that is false. The approach was all wrong for a restaurant at this price point.
On the bright side, the decoration is unique for the area, the presentation of food is pleasing and the rest of the staff is friendly and polite like one would expect in a high end restaurant.
If you must have Russian style food at the Delaware beaches, and money is no object, this is probably your best bet, but I’d suggest getting it to go.

I have dined at restaurants all across the price spectrum and from every cuisine in the world. This is hands down one of the best dining experiences I’ve had to date.
There’s two things that really determine if this restaurant is for you:
1. The food is pricy. There is no way around that. The entrees are $55. Desserts sit at $25. Caviar and the like runs over $125. Cocktails are $25.
2. This is not meant for a get in and get out dining experience. We dined for 3 hours and ordered all the courses, but I would caution you away if you’re not willing to be sociable and ask questions.
If you accept the first two conditions you are in for the time of your life.
Victoria, the owner and host of the evening, accommodated my group of 5 guys. She only seats 8 people for the entire evening, and we had the restaurant all to ourselves for the evening. She’s an incredible woman.
I’m obsessed with food, food history and the like, and Victoria walked us through everything we ordered, the origins of each dish, and how to eat everything.
I’m sober, but my buddies said the vodka and cocktails were incredible. My buddy ordered a vodka flight and I was fascinated by Victoria’s explanation of the distilling process of Vodka.
We did the smallest order of Caviar (it’s too rich for my blood), but I wanted to taste. It was unlike anything I had tasted and I was impressed.
We also ordered some Foie Gras Mousse which was delicious. There was enough for a bite of each for everyone at the table, which was lovely.
I can confidently say the Borscht I ordered is the best soup (which I can now understand why Victoria says it’s not really even a soup) I’ve eaten. It’s rich and delicious. My buddy who hates soup ordered it on a whim and was blown away.
The Entrees were all stellar. The Satsivy I ordered was an excellent take on a duck dish. It was rich and vibrant, complemented with dates and pickled carrots. I will be ordering the Pelmeni next time because I tried my friend’s and it was incredible.
We concluded with Napoleon for dessert, which was amazing. It reminded me of a crepe mixed with Bakalva, flaky and creamy.
The food was delicious, Victoria and her son Felipe were the peak of hospitality. I hope I get the privilege of dining here again.

Everything I thought I knew about Russian dishes was wrong. Granted, I didn’t know much but the little I did know never compelled me to want to try it. But tonight we went to Red Square and were bowled over! We ordered the Beluga caviar, the borsch, the vareniki, the chicken kiev, the beef stroganoff, the satsivy and for dessert the Napoleon and the truffle blini. The martinis were amazing as well! The best of all of those was the espresso martini. So good! Of all the courses, the dessert was my least favorite but only because everything else was so epic. The owner was so thorough in explaining every dish including Russian lore and tradition and her innovation on each dish. The dishes came out perfectly timed. This is not just dinner but a complete dining experience!

We had such an amazing experience at Red Square. Victoria, the owner treats you like family as soon you walk in. She went through every part of the menu section by section. She walked us through our vodka flight tasting and helped us pick out our martinis. Banana and lemon tea martinis were great and they were 10 oz each. You only need one. For an appetizer, we went with the oysters and I was hesitant eating crème fresh with oysters but I think I have been eating oysters wrong my whole life with hot sauce. These oysters had crème fresh, dill, lemon and salt and were delicious and so fresh. For our entrees we had the satsivy Duck and beef stroganoff, both were incredible. I crave the satsivy duck everyday and wish I ordered 2 of them. I don’t recall the name of the dessert but it was puff pastry with homemade cream in the middle of each layer and just the perfect amount of sweetness. I wish I could of given 10 stars. Service from Victoria and her son was OUTSTANDING!! They were so attentive and very family oriented. We loved hearing stories of her food and how personable she was to us. I was very skeptical that the vodka wouldn’t have a taste, smell or a hangover but I was very surprised on how smooth the flight was and no repercussions in the morning. I can’t wait to go back and couldn’t say enough about our experience. Thank you Victoria and your son for such an amazing night! I would HIGHLY recommend.

Red Square is an awesome and unique experience in Rehoboth Beach. I started with the vareniki in a truffle butter sauce, which was out of this world and cherished every bite. The borscht was delicious and the black bread was a perfect complement! Followed with the satsivi, which had wonderful flavor and went well with the roasted duck. The collection of vodkas and martinis was comprehensive, and the pomegranate martini, specifically, was absolutely phenomenal!! Followed the meal with the Napoleon, which was masterfully constructed. That all being said, the best part of the evening was the gracious and accommodating owner, Victoria!! She walked other diners through their vodka flights and each course. She was a true pleasure to meet and talk to. She loves her restaurant and cuisine and is very attentive. A reservation is a must, as only a few tables can be accommodated , as she will not sacrifice quality and service to her customers. I look forward to returning soon!! Спасибо большое!!!

Wife and I wanted something different for dinner and there is nothing more unique than this Russian restaurant. Owner is a vibrant woman with a passion for the food and drink she serves. Not only making it authentic but ready to share the culture and tradition behind each vodka, cocktail and dish. We had 2 flights of vodka, each came with a detailed description. The food, from the awesome borsch my wife enjoyed, to my salmon alexander (both pictured) to the traditional beef stroganoff, and my Satsivy, were well prepared and delicious. Try enjoying the high quality, rare in America, vodkas with your food. The pairing will surprise you. Oh and the Espresso Martini is dessert enough but the house made Napoleon is well worth an order.

Stopped in here for Martinis and Caviar. Unbelievably awesome. Our hostess was amazing, making the entire experience wonderful. I had a Griaznula Martini, which was spiked with spicy Jerk seasoning. My wife had a Dirty Russian, which wasn’t on the menu but was a pickle-like martini. Both were top notch. They had beluga caviar, which was worth the price. It was served with creme fraiche, clarified butter, and home made blinis. Superb.
If you like Caviar and Vodka, this is the place to go. Their drink menu has 5 pages of Vodkas!
Can’t wait to go back!

We visit Rehoboth Beach every year and have tried multiple times to stop by Red Square for a drink. Unfortunately, every single time we were refused service. Even just sitting at the bar for a cocktail was not allowed. We were told that reservations must be made at least a month (!) in advance — which is simply absurd.
This policy and attitude are completely unprofessional and make guests feel unwelcome. Instead of hospitality, we were met with rejection, which is a terrible reflection of customer service. Rehoboth Beach has plenty of wonderful restaurants and bars that truly value their guests. Sadly, Red Square is not one of them.

What a wonderful jewel nestled in the heart of Rehoboth Beach. The dinners are unforgettable delights. I’ve try most now. Very good caviar, if you’ve never tried caviar this is the perfect place to start. They will guide you.
My other Favorite start, Ukranian Vareniki.
Dinner is hard for me to choose now because I love them all. These are at the top in this order:
Red Square Smoked Duck
Beef Stroganoff
Satsivy
The elegant ambience of the room with the decadent dishes, soft music make this one of the most romantic places at the beach. And I haven’t even mentioned the staggering number of the finest vodkas you will find in this country.
I’ve talked enough go ahead sit.
